I've found a real love in reading books borrowed from the library. It's just a nice experience, means I don't spend money, and they don't get added to my hoard. I'm about a hundred pages into Addie LaRue, and absolutely in love with it so far! It's giving me the same kind of feeling The Starless Sea gave me; absolutely magical and beautiful storytelling.
My library only has very few books, and I don't know anybody who reads in english or french here so I buy everything 1st or 2nd hand. I'm intrigued by Addie Larue but I didn't really like A darker shade of magic so I'm still waiting 😊 And I read Scythe last year, loved it and the 2nd and 3rd books are waiting on my shelves!
I felt the same about A Darker Shade of Magic and Vicious! I thought it was just me lol. I find Addie LaRue is so different and I had a better reading experience lol. I was honestly reluctant to read it at first 🙈 Scythe was so so sooo good! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on Thunderhead and Toll when you get to read them!

Omg how good is Addie LaRue right? I was absolutely inlove 🥲 let me know your thoughts when you finish! And yes, library books are the best!
I really adore your style😊
That means so much 🫶🏻

I loved The Arc of a Scythe trilogy by Neil Shusterman so hopefully you’ll like that, but you need to read them in order.
I read it in 2018 and it is one of the books that has left a big mark 😭 I love it so much!
