I believe it is owned by Amtrak. The track is Class 6 so even freight trains can go that fast if they choose, but most are too heavy for that speed. With PTC on all trains, along with the signals they use on that line/corridor, they are allowed.
On the Wolverine line, Amtrak and MDOT combined own the track from Portage, IN to Dearborn, MI, save for a very small stretch of track in Battle Creek.

Lovve high speed trains what route is this. I live near accela trains in Boston mass area. Nice vid. Where is this located in Michigan.
Lawton, Michigan. It's about 30 min west, and slightly south, of Kalamazoo.
