I love this! You said you used a pvc pipe but what did you use to decorate the pvc tube? When you first started to cut the holes in the glass, was there a learning curve so as not to break the glass. I watched your video using water and a diamond bit. I didn't catch what size that was.
E-6000 is a good strong industrial glue, but it cannot take a lot of heat. If you live in a hot climate (CA, FL, AZ, TX etc.) the glass heats up and retains heat and eventually the glue softens and the weight of the plates pulls them apart. The BEST (in my view) is 100% silicone which is made for exterior windows, so is water proof, freeze proof and sun proof up to 400 degrees. While "Clear" silicone is not as clear as E-6000...if you use it on the backside of a plate or bowl, it won't show anyway.
@@pitajalla It comes in a squeeze tube like the E-6000 which is easier to apply. It produces a thick bead that stays put and is low odor. Silicone has different types. Make sure the package says for doors and windows/exterior. And make sure it says 'Clear.' Give it a try and see what you think.
