sorour elmeskine, well it is because when we were enslaved by the French, they got people from different parts of Africa who spoke different languages, so they had to find a way to communicate with each other. Therefore creole is a mixt of mostly French, African, Taino Indian with some Spanish and maybe English also, but it is a language of it's own and has it's own grammar. The thing is French is a second language in Haiti where you learn it in schools.
Haitian Creole has some of the same pronunciations as Yoruba ( Nigeria ) just a little but that’s to be expected because of the slave trade. I’m 50-60% HaitianCreole on my daddy’s side so this is nice to learn because my dad’s side is detached from the culture and everything. I will be the first one in my family to speak it and pass it down to my children when I marry my husband from there.
Thank you so much. You are the perfect teacher. I look forward to continuing watching your videos and if you are new York within the 5 boros i will pay you to teach me. Thanks again

No "C" in Haitian Creole, there is only "K" for the C sound or "CH" for the "SH" English sound. Avec ... should be spelled avek. remen is spelled renmen in creole you forgot the "n" And apran has 2 n's it is spelled aprann in Haitian Creole. I am an American white boy from NJ but I speak read and write creole. My Haitian girlfriend hates when I correct her spelling, so I hope you don't hate me too! Lol :)
tornadochaser66 Thank you so very much. I will be sure to keep that in mind. I know how to spell in French more than Creole, so sometimes I have to check Google. Thanks again.
But how would you say something is good? Should you say, "Kreyol mwen se bon." (I'm guessing c'est instead of ne pas translates across to Creole from French.) Or should you just omit the "pa" -- "Kreyol mwen bon." ? Thanks, merci!

Is there a reason why for the switch of My Creole to Kreyol Mwen?
In france, we have: my house is chez moi. His house is chez lui etc. Mary's house is chez Marie etc
But how would you say something is good? Should you say, "Kreyol mwen se bon." (I'm guessing c'est instead of ne pas translates across to Creole from French.) Or should you just omit the "pa" -- "Kreyol mwen bon." ? Thanks, merci!
