@Jim Palmer I respect your opinion. But It' will not changed mine. This video was great. It's sad that there are so many sour, joyless, bitter, resentful, cowards, who don't have the courage get out there and make something that is just fun, inclusive and pleasure to watch. In my 80 years, I have seen the integrity of the world and our nation fall apart... but it's young people like these that give me hope for the future. Thank you so much for letting your passion give this old man a lift!!!
If being a Millennial (I was born in 1986, in Los Angeles California) has taught me anything, it's that you are only as old as you feel. It's like that song originally sung by Frank Sintara, "And if you should survive to a hundred and five, Look at all you'll derive out of being alive, And here is the best part, you have a head start, If you are among the very young at heart." Also, Paul McCartney wrote "When I'm 64" when he was 12. Us Millennials had great examples in your generation. My dad used to play me 'oldies but goodies' all the time growing up in the 1990s. It's because of him that I could tell you about Percy Sledge, Etta James, Billie Holiday, Chuck Berry, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Richie Valens, Annette Hanshaw, The Wrecking Crew, the Beatles by the time I was eight. We cherish the cultural impact you've left behind for us to treasure, and treasure it, we absolutely do. ❤❤

Why is this even a conversation, they Both did a good job singing and honouring one song from the greatest Rock Band and lead singer of all time. These kinds of performances by younger people today allow the incredible music of the one and only Freddie Mercury gone way to soon to hopefully live on for as long as human kind does, the way it should be.
Ya, I have to agree. He is amazing. And that choir sounded incredible…how could they get such great sound in a room with what you would think are poor acoustics.

I noticed the wholesome look of those in the cafeteria, notice not a lot of tattos, no overly pierced, or other wild expressions, which is not common these days at Universities in America (or most other places), and researched. This is at a Seventh Day Adventist university in Brazil. A nice change to what has become the majority these days.
As well as highlighting what looked to be a killer cafeteria lunch buffet, this video shared with us amazing harmonies from dozens of talented singers, two incredible soloists, a tight, dramatic arrangement, and production qualities to rival those of a professional company. Bravo, bravo, bravo. This made my day the first time I heard it, and continues to do so with each successive listening. My warm appreciation goes out to every single performer, support person, cafeteria employee, and onlooker involved in this wonderful performance.
Arrangement and harmonies was all Queen's, but with Freddie's vocal range and Roger's high range the boys just didn't need lassies to provide back up vocals. These kids did great.
I see that comments below focused on the young lady. Yes, she was very, very good, but so was the young man and the chorus was really good. Great harmonies, in tune and sounded great.
He kinda hogs the whole performance though. I mean, I know Freddie tended to hog the vocal in Queen, but this is supposed to be a mob, not a solo gig with backing singers. I'm pretty sure there were other good singers in that mob who would have like to be able to step forward. He also wasn't all that great, to be honest. Maybe his dad is the principal.

Good job. It also reminds us that Freddie had a wide vocal range, such that covers for Queen songs sometimes do better splitting the lead vocals and singing it as a duet.
Aside from the great vocals, I was constantly thinking how nice it was to see a large crowd all just enjoying themselves. Certainly during the singing but also....just simply having lunch together. Amazing how we miss this simple thing! How would have thought this flash mob scene would have ever meant so much. Great performance and a nice looking crowd!!!

My this is beautiful statement was about the TH-cam video. and that I was glad there wasn't any rioting burning and so on in the video. I had seen enough of that on TV news shows. @@doublezero7852 ya well, putting it that way I guess I do sound a little rediculous writing that lol and this is a totally, not partially true assessment of my comment
I'm impressed. Great vocals & the chorus was outstanding. I've listened to this many, many times. Best flash mob song of them all. By far!
OMG this is the future of America. At 69 years old and having been to there concerts let's all remember that it takes SPIRIT and a love of music to do this ...BRAVO my next generation. BRAVO!!
I'm speechless!!!
As soon as the singing started a chill went down my spine and I got goosebumps.
Both the singers have lovely voices.
This is amazing!!!
As a child of the 60s, I've worried about today's youth. Then I saw this video.........the kids are alright!! Long live rock & roll
As another child of the 60s I *REALLY* misunderstood what a flash mob would do.
I mean yeah, the singining etc was very nice.
But it was still not Hair or Oh Calcutta ...................... IYSWIM ......................... Disappointing
What you think your The Who now.. lol.
Awesome job by these kids.
Freddie Mercury would be so happy.
My 7 year old granddaughter loves my music! Proud grandma here! ❤

Holy cow this was beyond fantastic!!! You all need to sing this in American Idol, you would win hands down. The lead female singer can really punch the notes out. Bravo! To all

I love that the other people in the cafeteria have such an absolutely amazing appreciation for their incredible talent..
I am so envious of those performers.
On that day they gave a fire-hose of joy to so many.
And probably somebody that really needed it. Somebody...
This gives me hope for humanity, beautiful.
It's so great to see that the other students stopped and watched! This would be great if they do this regularly. Lunch will always be more than just eating and chatting but fully entertaining as well!
We need more of this around the world!
agree
Salil Gurung they do as long as you agree with their message😊
Very nicely done. The lead girl and boy were amazing both of them had lovely voices. This was organised and beautifully harmonised and performed. I really enjoyed listening to this.
I agree, channeling their inner Freddie

I needed to see this, it was a challenging day with more losses than wins. What a great way to fall asleep seeing the joy on so many peoples faces what a lovely campus and the people were all so beautiful. Thanks to all who participated - blessings
May the music of Queen always bring us together.
I keep coming back to this, they could sing to me everyday, never get bored, where are they now?
This is beautiful!
No rioting!
No burning!
No looting!
No yelling!
No fighting!
No swearing!
No kidding!
This is beautiful!
Several of the people who responded to my comment made the assumption I meant BLM. I didn't say that BLM did the things I mentioned.
My this is beautiful statement was about the TH-cam video. and that I was glad there wasn't any rioting burning and so on in the video. I had seen enough of that on TV news shows. It was nice getting to see something beautiful for a change with this TH-cam video.
stop referring to BLM
This is one of the beautiful joys in life. Life...people...music...education
Yes!
stop referring to 7 percent of a movement
Well then it must not be in the US lol
Rest in piece Freddie Mercury. What an incredible piece of art you left behind. Somebody to love, Queen.
The most beautiful song ever .🎼 I'm sure Freddie loved this.
I was blown away. The harmonies of these guys really brings out this classic song. Would give even Freddie Mercury a run for his money. Subscribed and Belled.
1 year later, in 2020, this made me cry. I miss people 😭
Right there with you!!
We miss you too
Me too 🌻
Ignore the shutdown. I do. It is total people control totalitarian practice for the leftist communist state they are trying to create.
Yup. Brought tears to my eyes.❤️❤️
This great ! ! ! What a fantastic moment for all the young lives in that room.
One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen or heard.

By the end of the song, every single person in the cafeteria was captivated by a great performance. Congrats!
Watching this during the pandemic when our country is horribly divided is inspiring!
