Also because HITC is organized by 88rising, you know they’re going to force Gidle to perform a bunch of songs from their English EP instead of their self-produced songs. Realistically their set list is probably going to be the usual TOMBOY, MY BAG, QUEENCARD, SUPER LADY, maybe POP/STARS, and the rest is all 88rising stuff. IMO that itself is a let down because I don’t really care for any of the songs on that EP. Also a lot of new lyrics for the non-English speaking members to memorize Whereas if Coachella invites Gidle to perform without 88rising, they can choose whatever songs they’d like from their discography AND showcase them to a much wider audience
