    Great video, to me this is probably the best way to appreciate the usefulness of a combination of sequence component+P.U system and practical observation/measurement to calculated fault impedances, currents & voltages. Makes perfect sense.

    Hello! The videos are very informative and helpful. One thing I'm confused about: during the calculation of base voltage, why is it divided by √3? Does it have something to do with line voltage and phase voltage?

      Hey Shafquat, you have reached at the right point. Yes, it is linked with line and phase voltage.
      For unsymmetrical fault calculation using a sequence network, we use phase values that are phase voltage and current as base values. As we know that in Wye connection:
      phase voltage = line voltage / √3
      So for calculating base voltage in the Wye connected side of the transformer, we divide line voltage by √3.
