That's great that you met up with Dave (Urgum Scurgum) and visited Dunino Den. What an amazing place that must have been to explore and to play there like Dave did as a kid. The scissors or shears on the kilted man gravestone in Dunino churchyard was probably a "tool of trade" symbol which means he was possibly a tailor. The other symbol on the right was either a book, bible or a scroll I think, but could possibly be a bolt of material because apparently tailors used to also travel around selling material. Great video, thanks Dan. I hope your ear's better.
This was great Dan! Loved it! The area in the woods was for Pagan/Wiccan rituals. The carving in the rock was the Green Man, and the curvy three pointed carving was for the triple Goddess. Beautiful and very peaceful area, thank you Dan!
Here in the nordics in some places scissors were placed on the dead to make them not come back as ghosts :) and placed in cots to protect them from bad things :)
The footprint looks more like a place where you would set your torch in the hole whilst fetching some water. You know so you have some light to see what you are doing when filling your pail of water.
I've seen many headstones like this in Scotland. It's not uncommon to see symbols instead of words to describe the life of the person. Scissors can mean a Taylor or cloth maker. Other symbols are to remind us of mortatality. Skull and crossbones and hour glass, sands of time have run out.
Hi dan! This might make you 🤣Just behind the light above in you're car there is a little black smudge ...I keep trying to flick it off with my finger on my iPod !😂. ? What is that?
Those earrings were probably cubic zirconia with nickel free studs. Sure were pretty anyway. (Sorry..posted before I intended) wanted to say I love your videos and like how you educate as well as search for "treasure".

Hey, I think Dan should start his own history cable/satellite TV channel. Will blow the other ones away, and we'll learn some real history, not that politically correct stuff they try to force down our throats. Excellent video Dan. See ya in the next one.
How beautiful and mysterious, would have not liked to have gone there back in the day tho. I wonder how much of the human sacrifice stuff was actually rubbish?! Nasty stories made up by the Romans perhaps?!
