I find him as funny as he was back in series 25, 26 and 27. It’s just that he isn’t as abrasive as he was back in his first tenure so his comedy isn’t as ‘in-your-face’. Two of his funniest episodes, in my opinion, are series 29 episode 34 and series 32 episode 3 (when he was made acting clinical lead and when he was trying to retrieve Sanosi, respectively).
