To be fair, on turn 6 the draw control deck had the strongest board presence, tutored twice, and was 46 cards deep into their deck, with a Sol Ring start. You're pretty high percentage to lose that game 😂
When i first saw Eldraine spoilers i was intentioned to build her on paper but then i decided to wait and see some gameplays to actually see if she was capable as a commander or not...i really like the control and the tricky gameplays she can provide but at the same time i see there is a lack of solid wincons for her...do you have any to suggest besides cloudstone/hullbreaker shenanigans?
It's a control deck so you'd ultimately drag the game out for as long as possible until you can throw a combo together. Plenty to choose from in dimir. Otherwise you could go for the Scion of Oona trick to buff the army like I did here. Or just drop something like Gravitational Shift or Coat of Arms for massive damage in the air.
@@metalliholichullbreaker lets you return a non land permanent to the owners hand on any of your casts. good game/ it was a rough one, i didnt have a lot of decent set up. narci sagas ends up being a grindy deck that wants to drag the game out. the early scoops kinda sped the game up so my deck couldnt get into the removalall the time mode
I can’t imagine it’s bad. I’ve only ever used it a couple of times and it drew a hell of a lot. If we’d lost the enchantment this game then we lose our draw engine so Titan would’ve replaced it nicely.
I find that alela can’t play against power 7-8 decks. You will need to replace a lot of fairies to compete at a high level. For example she will stand no chance against a high power Carmen aristocrat deck, or a high power adrix and nex. I’ve bot seen one high power build that has won a game
Super late to the video, but after building this deck for myself... isn't Tainted Isle basically a colorless land in this deck? It is so incredibly bad and it never turned into a dual for you until VERY late in the game. Most fairies, cantrips, enchantments and counterspells you'll play in the deck are blue, so I played 11 basic Islands but only 4 basic Swamps. Even with Fetid Pools and Sunken Hollow, the Swamp count isn't high enough. You're literally better off using ANY colorless utility land (my swap was for The Biblioplex since this deck keeps 7 cards in hand pretty easily), or just another basic.
As much as I want to love lesser supported tribes, I always feel like they just exist while the other cards win the game. Cyclonic Rift, Vamp/Mystical Tutor, Sol Ring, Mana Drain etc were really the powerhouses, the faeries could have been nearly any other tribe and that makes me sad.
Real nice of DMany to stick it out. It helps that she is a regular on PJ's channel.
well im a dude but i do like feeling pretty
I have always loved dimir faeries, and this new eldraine set made them go even more wild than before🎉
They didn’t quite have the support for EDH previously but they definitely do now.
Loving the thumbnails. They make me wanna watch the video
Love alela, I run her as my paper commander
Interesting games with unfortunate scoops

Great game with a sweet deck. Sad to see the random rage concessions from opponents. It's a major reason i don't play on mtgo myself :/

Heads up, Cloud of Faeries + Hullbreaker Horror + Sol Ring is infinite mana, Archmage of Echoes makes it infinite fairy clones.
Oooo can you explain how to make infinite mana with sol ring, cloud of faeries and hullbreaker?

D-Man always makes videos better. Cause he plays the dang game.
I love this deck. I got one its just no where as optimal as yours.
Gotta help out to make the content better for all.
What was making the copies of the Scion?
I have this commander in paper she's wild. Helped me learn how to play draw go control.
She's a superb commander. I'm sure it's a headache to play against though.
Yep, pretty nice one T-Kai. ❤
interesting to see dmanyyyyy
oh really
pretty sure im used to seeing you in someone elses videos lol maybe im mistaken but yeah ahaha

Yeah that’s MTGO with randoms for you. Can’t tell you the number of times I’ve seen games warped because of that.
is the titan of Litjara good in this deck? I took it out of my Sliver precon that it came in

You could reduce any game down that though. “All you ever do is reduce their life total down to 0. It’s boring.”
