14:45 I agree with this quite a bit--at near the end it's time to think more about yourself than you might have done earlier in life. For me, my priority for most of my decisions prior to retirement was 'what would be best for the family'. Retirement, and relocating halfway around the world, these days I think more about what makes me happy for the limited number of days I have left. Call it selfish if you like, it doesn't matter to me, it's how I want to finish out my days--for me. 🙂
When I was working, I visited Palau, American Samoa, Guam, Saipan, the Marshall Islands. I really loved the culture and felt more at home than I have ever felt in America. It may be backwards but to me it felt right. I don't know how to explain it but America has always felt like it is not my home.
Loved it your friend John is always so funny You both made me laugh so much Keep putting in the golf I like it as you made it funny not boring Keep up the amazing work Good morning 😂
John to me us a typical Aussie guy .. realistic .. views life as temporary and great sense of humour just like you Chuck. Shame you had to get a Kermit shirt tho. Really enjoyed this vlog .. golf and all. Lotsa laughs good when 2 friends can take the mickey out of each other .. sadly lacking in most vlogs. Bushyboy Oz.
Yep. I’ve been divorced once in the UK and once in the USA. Now in Thailand. Leased some land from my girlfriend and built a brand new house with a pool. Hopefully it all works out. Third time lucky 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
you guys look fun!!! im a veteran from america in buriram id love to come play with you guys!!!! i shot in the 80's years ago but havent played lately.......let me know!!!!
Chuck, had trouble seeing you when you were on the green's or fairway, was definitely easier to find you in the sand bunkers 😮😂❤all kidding aside nice shirt
Haha. The intro cracked me up. 😂😂 Good Morning. Chuck and John. Great to hear his story. I love the banter you have with John. 🤣And words you add. 555. I bet so many people would have lots of questions. If you did a live stream. Always good to test any water. Collar top here in the UK too. You definitely look the part. You're making me miss playing golf even more. Roll on, summertime in the UK. I love the edits you add. 32.30. I would have hit it into the water. 555. You can tell John has been on the golf courses, he is so brown. Envious. It's so strange you said that about John's name. As I typed, I thought, "Does he spell it, Jon?" Par good. 37.05. Nice shot. And pose. Leg muscles, look good mate. So close on that put, Chuck. Eating out of boredom. Chuck, you crack me up. Burger and drinks. Happy Sunday.
I was in Pattaya last year for a week. The porn movies or maybe it was real, were playing in the middle of the night. I changed hotels I swear it was the same movie with a German mans voice and asian girl voices. Now you understand how annoyed I was, almost.
Owning land as a foreigner in Thailand through a company can be a legal risk. Recently Thai authorities have started to crack down on „nominee businesses“ in a number of tourist areas. Thank you for your great videos!
No, US citizens cannot own land in Thailand, but there are other ways to acquire property in Thailand: Leasehold Foreigners can lease land for up to 30 years and build structures on it. Leasehold agreements must be registered with the local Land Office. Condominium Foreigners can own a unit in a condominium building. Company ownership Foreigners can own land in Thailand through a Thai company, where they own at least 49% of the shares. Board of Investment (BOI) Foreigners who invest at least one million Baht in Thailand can buy up to 20 Rai of land for residential purposes for employees. Marriage Foreigners married to a Thai national can legally own land in Thailand, but it must be registered in the name of the Thai national. Right of Superficies A company or the Thai spouse of a foreigner can grant a Right of Superficies to the foreigner, giving them the right to own constructions on the land. When buying property in Thailand, it is recommended to: Consult with registered lawyers, Work with reputable estate agents, Familiarize yourself with real estate terms and FAQs, and Consider tax considerations.
Great course! I think your golf game just needs more play. For just starting , your game is good. A few more lessons and you can find your problem, minor little things. I got to low 80's and was happy. Fun day, thanks for sharing !😊
What are Thai standards? 29,000 Thai baht In 2023, the AVERAGE monthly income per household in Thailand amounted to over 29,000 Thai baht, which was an increase compared to the previous year America is 50k per year. Cost of living no comparison. However I get what you're saying my friend. Most of the people I used to know back in the United States their entertainment was based on what they had left on their credit card for the month.
@notime2bsad.. You're right, I usually pay on average of $55 to $70 to play here in the states. But I guess golf in Thailand is probably considered a rich person sports so $70 isn't that bad. I just thought it would be cheaper since the cost of living there is generally cheaper.
@sly5789 I am guessing this why people don't like golf or any content with golf. The rich man sport perspective. Golf normally cost around $10 to $45 usd here. NASCAR racing which is perceived to be a bunch of drunken rednecks. Cost around 500 US dollars to see that. Guess it's all about how we see things. Instead of actually seeing things.
By the time the caddies have been tipped; probably around the 3,000 baht area. The average wage for non-proffesionals in Isaan, is around the 400 - 500 baht/ day, area. So 3,000 baht could be a weeks wage - ie very expensive for the average local wage.
if i had to assume I would think that the very few Foreigners that play on this course has kept it open for so many years. All I see playing is Thai's and they regularly have PGA tournaments here. There are many Thai people with very good income, they just don't flaunt it around.
Another comment coming from an opinionated gazer watching other people on the internet talking about how boring someone else is. laughable to say the least.
@@notime2bsad I find your video clips from Thailand very interesting and what you have to say even when you are with your mother but I think playing golf is only for old men it is boring sorry I hope I have not offended you
Just a bit of advise on golf swing Your left ankle. /. heal must stay on the ground when you hit the ball Your swing will never be accurate until you do this Just watch any pro golfer swing and you will see try it / it works ok

Chucky boy - you can't ground your club in the sand before you hit your ball, hence you need to add a few more numbers to your final score

Stopped the video to say that you might be self-sabotageing your fairway drives. Listen to your own advice, "Don't think too much. "

Claiming your assets is one thing; creating a dollar company is another! On paper, it's another! Now what?
You can remove the flag when you are on the green. Or in Thailand is there a rule that states you aren't supposed to?

Isn't there just this month Nov.2024 a new law where Farangs can buy a house with 99 Years lease ?
is buying and leasing the same? 65 + 99 = 164years old. The numbers, or reasoning never add up for me in reality...
The streetwalker in your thumbnail was not in your video. Why did you put it there?
Streetwalker? That’s a waitress/server. She has on a Chang shirt and uniform 🤦🏻♂️
not a streetwalker that you were searching for, but one of the beautiful chang beer girls.
