Amazingly simple, I love how Svelte is just obvious. While currently converting my React projects to Svelte, I realize how much more code has to be written in react vs svelte

Can you explain more on Server routes. As in converting an simple node express API into sapper?

Love the last 2 videos. Rollup is now use by React. They shifted from webpack. I've been playing with Svelte for a couple of weeks now and while I like Vue and React, I'm really enjoying Svelte. For newcomers, I would look/learn Svelte before going to Sapper. At least go through some of the REPL examples. Get job Harry! Svelte on! Do more!

@@hswolff hey, just an idea. Make an app in Svelte that will demand extensively use of Stores. This will be really cool.

Is Sapper worth using for non-public-facing business apps behind login walls? Or is it too much extra complexity and overhead for insignificant performance improvement?

Hi, very nice introduction to Sapper. I am really curious on how you would bypass CORS with Sapper. I'm in the process of making a weather application and need to download an XML-file, but I always run into the CORS problem 😮

This has nothing to do with Sapper or any part of your application. CORS needs to be enabled/allowed on the server where the XML file is, which im guessing its not yours.

      CORS applies to browser requests.
With Sapper you can make backend requests which are not constrained by CORS.
So you can make the request with the BE call, and then serve it up to the FE.

There are some exceptions on using export, namely around sessions
