Hello,, New subscriber here, from about 3 hours west of Chicago, Illinois USA! 🇺🇸 I use the Ball Mason Jars for my coins too. I want to tell you that I think the UK has some pretty cool looking paper currency. It's so colorful! I wish you all the best with your channel.
Hi Valerie, that's so much for stopping by and saying hi! I really appreciate it. Best thing about the money here is it is washing machine proof. You can wash it and tumble dry it and it doesn't damage it at all.
Hi watched a couple of your videos and really like your meal planning and think your books are a good idea. What about cleaning supplies and washing products, which budget do they come from and where do you buy them from x
Hi, So i make my own multi purpose cleaner using vinegar and fruit peels. then other things like fair liquid, zoflora, bleach and toilet cleaner i buy in bulk. That gets worked into a bigger grocery budget that i do every 6 months. That budget means that much less goes into any of the other savings or expenses that month, but its a small sacrifice for a much larger gain. I usually save around 50% by buying in bulk but i also save on travel because i would buy cleaning products from savers or b&m and my closest is 9 miles away.
Hey Mimi, thanks for stopping by! Appreciate the support! Ive always wanted to visit Alabama. I lived in CA and FL for a lot of years but never ventured that way! Have a great weekend! x
Thanks for the video. I'd like to see a grocery haul for a £120 monthly grocery budget. I'm currently spending £400 per month & do not buy processed foods but do buy meat & fish... & we don't eat out...
Didn't use all of it cause we did a fair bit of working from home. But since then, my fuel budget has to to increase massively. It's now costing me £80-£90 to fill my car where it use to cost me £60-£70...

Would also enjoy to see this. We are a family of 2 adults and a toddler. £200 usually does it for us I’m hoping to reduce x
I tend to shop weekly and use surplus food boxes to supplement my weekly shopping. I will look at filming a full month of shopping.
Did you use all of the £260 fuel allowance in January
Didn't use all of it cause we did a fair bit of working from home. But since then, my fuel budget has to to increase massively. It's now costing me £80-£90 to fill my car where it use to cost me £60-£70...
@@themuminthenorth okay. You just didn’t explain what had happened to the surplus cash
