Lovely beyond words. This is what the saxophone is capable of. The raucous tone of most players have lost sight of what caresses the acoustic nerve instead of grating on it.

I wish saxophone was used in orchestral music more often :/ it has such a unique sound

I echo this sentiment. The Romantic music of the late 19th Century is, for me, some of the most beautiful music ever created and Sax (with Berlioz and Mussorgsky), made this music so beautiful. Let's not forget that they were "pathfinders" of their time.

    Caro Davide...
I'm revisiting this video after one year. I've been listening to you / watching you for several years. You are a wonderful musician.
    A few things...
    1. I love your playing. If there's one thing I could say, it would be to add more "love". That is all.
    2. Watch this video again and note how your colleague, the flautist, blows into her instrument, from the beginning, to "warm it up" and then cleans it...then holds the head of the flute against her cheek to keep it warm. So beautiful...THIS is what I mean by "love".
    3. Your vibrato is perfect: "not too much, not too little". Sublime...
    4. The conductor is so good...she conveys so much feeling in her actions. This is so rare...
    Bravo, Davide...
