Then you failed to mention that you shouldn't publish your admin password to an unknown third party site that knows both your local and public ip address when making the xml script.
But seriously - proofread your scripts for content density. I like this channel, I do - but you do ramble a bit :)
Give us a pointer to your debloat ISO for Windows 11 and Windows 10. This would be better for us novices to get a debloated Windows.
Made a video how to do that the other day
that really isn't recommended since while you may trust the maker of that ISO, it's still a vector for malware. Plus there may be some settings you DO want that he's disabled so you're free to make your own custom ISOs.
We need a video on how to get off Windows altogether and never look back.

Nice video! It took me long enough to create the custom .iso from your last video and I think I'll be happy with that. Revo will take care of anything that slipped through the net and I've got your other videos handy to make changes after the fact. You have to do what you're happy doing and I think I've now done enough. You'll have to warn us if any Windows update is going to try and put back anything we've taken out so we can avoid it. My next PC will more than likely be my last, so a cheap OEM key will take care of the activation. Thanks again for sharing!

Great video! I'm working on something similar to this myself at the moment, because since I've found out about the .xml answer files, it's been a game changer for installing Windows. Unfortunately, these steps get a little too complicated for the average user.
Yeah it can be complicated, can't really show the coding part, takes to long. But that being said, there is lots of sites that can't help with some of things you need to learn. Always happy to help if you need it.

Forgive me for deviating from the topic at hand but I have 2 questions. As someone who is stuck with Windows 10 , I was wondering about your thoughts on Windows 11 LTSC for older computers. Secondly , would this tutorial be useful for the installation of LTSC as well ?
For older PCs you'll better stick with Win10 LTSC Iot.
Yesterday I had to format twice a 4th gen Intel CPU laptop because my idea was to install Win11 LTSC Iot but my god the performance was awful and can't even load TH-cam videos properly. I then had to make a second format, this time with Win10 LTSC Iot and the overall performance was a lot better.

If i would like to install firefox for example and add it to the script how would i go about doing that? ive tried but not managed to get it to work, would love if you could give us some hints

I would love to follow the steps. It's little bit tricky but not tough. Your easy demonstration inspired me to edit the iso file. But where would I get the instructions to replace the .XML file?

For me I just install Win10 21H1 ISO and before updating, i set target feature to only 21H1 in Group Policy and that gave me the smoothest Win10 OS.

Computer gibberish for the most part. No disrespect to Brian, but you either need Mr. Spock or your local computer expert to make the changes that you'll have to pay for. A lot of PC adjustments are not DIY and I think Microsoft did that deliberately to foul us up.

@@Britec09 I built jet aircraft parts, (frames and sheet metal) for 22 years. I've learned a lot from you, but right now my health is up and down, fatigue setting in from low iron. How can those "people" from Microsoft (I could call them something else) downgrade my PC from Windows 10 22H2 to Windows 11 24H2 with all those gpedit hacks and after a fresh install of Windows 10? This PC which I bought new in February hasn't worked this well since I got rid of that rubbish called Windows 11. Tiddlywinks? I haven't heard that word in a very long time. I spent my life in machine shops not computers, we all have our specialties.

One question, this trick only works on clean installations? Or could work on update from desktop running the setup.exe of this modified .iso from file explorer?
You should make a video about Windows LTSC which is like regular Windows but it comes with no bloat out of the box
Or even Windows 11 Pro N for Workstations edition !

@@truckwrecker6822 If you type Windows Enterprise LTSC ilicence key nto Google they are definitely out there for Windows 10 and I guess when Windows 11 24H2 iot LTSC is officially released in the Autumn this year they will be available somewhere, it is something I am looking at doing as the consumer version of Windows is out of control with all it app and feature updates which the majority do not actually want.
I use my computer as a business tool and I for one am not interested in any kind feature updates.

I've got an IOT LTSC edition of Win11 but its about 4.5GB in size. I understand there are two type of de-bloating:
1) with scripts inserted in the ISO which on installation it tell the installer what components to skip - the ISO have normal size.
2) custom ISOs that have different components removed from that ISOs - the ISO is reduced in size significantly.
There is a way to disable activation warning on LTSC?
Another great video Brian but it seems over the top. I recon most of us would find it easier and safer to just uninstall what we don’t want.

I'd say just block nearly everything in a firewall instead, but then again I'm sure one of those unexplained windows processes leaks everything you don't want out to ms. The only thing I would add to 11 is openshell. I tried it with retrobar too but both tools could really do with a merger

The next thing is to Remove Copilot/Recall Completely. Id like to see a vid where everything is restored into the Control panel and Only functions that way, no "settings" and no search

Microsoft defender is missing, use Bitdefender
no, use Kaspersky, it's lighter than Bitdefender, low false positives, simply a better option.
@@Britec09 microsoft defender is a must and very soon will be even better than malwarebytes.
I am still using Windows 10 1607 version. I have used later versions, including W11 (and even Linux) on an experimental basis in virtual machines or dual boot (in my other system) but found that those versions clamped down on settings even harder (in other words, MS make it harder to 'tweak' it).
However, as of late I have realized that my preferred version is surely becoming obsolete! Eg: my VPN no longer works with W10 1607!☹
I have no choice but to find another Win version, or move to Linux!😬(fat chance!)

Thanks but this method confused even me, you shouldve added to the title, "in the most confusing way" , it was all fine till i passed the bloatware section, and id have apperciated and been more encouraged to go deeper if u had provided your costum scripts on a link on description, cuz im familiar with reg files and some cmd scripts. Nice video tho, but not even for an "advancend" user like me, this looks like its made for experts who have build win95

Yes, you will. This method produces an ISO for doing a clean install. You need to back up all your data and have access to installers for all the non-Microsoft software that you use.

Once you've downloaded your browser of choice you can then delete edge.
