Leth was definitely better with the magnet, but i think the biggest factor to why he did so much better was that his defence was way better
Nah his offense was better too, you could tell he was manipulating the pull of the ball and pulling off some accurate slingshots with this.
Watching for 3 years, Leth is a monster with the magnet power-up. This one reacts differently of course, but his ability to outplay them led to the win for sure.
Going last in something like this is a huge disadvantage, because the others have 3 full rounds to learn strats to both defend & score. So his defense played a part (and taught the others how to counter him) but...
to be honest... he's just that good 😂
@@Sam-Pereira it definitely is a disadvantage, but if a defender like leth was there when leth tried to outplay them, this would not have gone down like this. Just think back to all the games and how many times leth was last to keep the ball out

Love your vids Leth. They've taught me a lot! Can you do an episode of RTSSL but with eyetracking? I think it would help a lot of players learn what to watch for and get better! And also can you please do a video on how to play custom games with your friends. Keep it up!!

@@ParasBansal10 yes but it seems like he is doing it differently now. Thru LAN custom game and he's already with his friends in a party. Not through bakkas mod
@@crazygamerz9340 Its still bakes mod, he just hosts a custom rl server on his computer that uses bakes mod

@@crazygamerz9340 Maps: yes. Mods: depends. For example this mod only affects the server so it needs only the one hosting the server to download it. Mods that show text or images on a players screen however will require everyone to download it.
There are very few contexts globally and throughout history (and possibly only one)... where this makes sense

It cracks me up how Leth is so good at all the RL game modes that he always feels bad for winning so hard, and everyone gets all discouraged. I can even detect a hint of Leth taking it easy on them so it isn't such a blow out.
I mean, I get it, it is more fun in a close competition, but you definitely shouldn't feel bad for being so good at the game;) No one else would. It's not like anyone in the lobby sucks, it is all good players, and I personally like everyone in the lobby.
It amazes me how Leth is able to bring daily quality content, and so many other content creators are always on about "I don't know what to do!". Love this channel, Leth my favorite all time pro player.
I know you've done Rocket League "Tether Ball" before. But It'd be cool to make a V2 where you put something that has this infinite magnet on a huge pole in the middle of the map. Then play actual tetherball !

@@Gecko1115 its more like hes one of the smartest players, although he does have good mechs, its not his strong suit
Part of it is also because he makes the game mode, or in this case, he does the thing last, so he can feel the strategy more. Not to take away from him though, he is also a former rlcs pro obviously.

I've thought this as well. But it could always have the opposite effect and he do really well because they haven't figured out defense so once it gets to their turn it completely demoralized them.
Nah going last is always the hardest because the others have figured out team strats. So it’s always gonna make sense to have leth go last cause he’s still gonna beat ‘em anyway
Leth is cheese at everything they do. Expect him to win every competition they do
Ur actually completely wrong on this. Leth would be at a much greater advantage if he went first. Leth always knew how to play it with the magnet, he learned nothing from those 3 rounds. The other 3 players got to understand how to defend for 3 rounds. In this format, going last as the one with the magnet is by far the hardest
I think a video where the ball fades in and out would be fun. Sometimes you see it but then it fades away and comes back. It would be very fun to watch as everyone gets confused trying to keep up with the ball.

You should do a game mode where everyone has a freeze that only the person who activated it can unfreeze it. And it doesn’t unfreeze until it is touched. That would be interesting to watch

you should do a survival game mode where the ball will basically heat seek to one singular person and you have to protect them for 2 minutes but if they get hit they're out and everyone has 3 lives and the people left at the end loses so you want the ball to hit you and not anyone else it goes until one person dies

This makes me wonder… can you make a player the ball itself? I suppose you could make movement controls rotate the ball, or remove the ball and have the chosen “BallPlayer” activate a goal score when in either net?
That’s basically what danny is lol if with no demo’s, only bumps, danny is the new ball to focus on with his constant magnet (i’m still watching first game).
Idk if you can just “weld” the chosen players car to the inner-center of the ball object. so their car isn’t seen, they just “rotate the ball from within” so to speak.

Okay but it's impossible to win this gamemode if the guy with the magnet stays in your goal the entire time, because even if you manage to get to the other side of the field, the magnet's pull will become too strong to get it any farther.

Not true. You could see it. If one player was Just sitting in net they would for sure lose. You just keep sending one player at a time and push it all the way. The best strategy was clearly to get the ball into the air to where they have a much harder time reading where the ball is coming
