However salvation from Christianity is fully testable, repeatable, and works in a way that you can 100% confirm if your right with God or not afterwards (2 Corinthians 13: 5 , 1 John 5: 10-13).

Thankfully, if you want to get right with God for yourself, i have also listed the three steps needed to follow below.
All in order to receive the free gift of salvation from God that is given out of his genuine love, given to us sinners;
Step 1-Realize that all have sinned before God, in one way or another, so everyone of us is a sinner in the sight of God.
Romans 3: 10+23 (KJB)
10. "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
23. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Step 2-Realize that God still loved us, even as wicked sinners in his sight.
Even enough to allow his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to pay the full price for our sins.
All by living a sinless life in our place and by shedding his own precious blood on the cross, to fully pay the price for the sins we all have done, as a freely given gift to us sinners.
Romans 5: 8-9 (KJB)
8. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
9."Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."
Step 3-Than to be saved, you just need to confess unto God (inwardly or outwardly) genuinely and ask for your sins to be forgiven.
All by accepting this freely given gift of forgiveness out of God's love for us, that Jesus Christ shed his blood on the cross to pay the full price for all of your sins.
As those sins will otherwise lead you to be judged for them and go to hell (that is it).
1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 (KJB)
1."Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2."By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.”

Lastly here is an example of what to pray to God to get saved and forgiven of your sins if you are having trouble finding the exact words to pray to God.
Although it is the genuine intent towards God that matters , more than the exact words said. :)

I need the righteousness of your son, Jesus Christ.
