Your eq most definitely improved the sound Not enough to entice me to buy it though I don’t need another stationary speaker (I have the go+play3 filling that position) and the Tribit is just too heavy to lug around. For out and about I’ve pretty settled on the Boom 2. It’s gets fairly loud, fairly deep, it’s compact and its light
Yeah it's definitely huge and bulky and not for everyone, it's still needing some serious work from the tribit team to make it a new boombox king, the boom 2 is awesome and so portable and sounds great
SUMMARY: they are different sound signatures and proposals! Version 1 is for those who want a box to listen to quality music. with details and more refinement. version 2 is for those who want power and sub-bass to throw parties where detail is not so necessary. In my opinion, it's better to get version 1 to listen to and if you want to throw parties, get a second version 1 unit and pair it in stereo. and since both boxes will cost almost the same price as one of version 2!!!! Version 2, for those who expected an evolution from version 1, was disappointed. because it is not an upgrade. is another proposal. Why even try to make SB2 to sound more like SB1 when you already have SB1?!? For what reason to "upgrade" then?
@StayReal02 thanks for that summary I think that you hit the nail on the head with that, booth generations are good but definitely for different reasons and uses
Could you do a range test and hz test of this speaker? I am curious how far it stays loud. The first blast has too much sound spread. I am thinking of making a sort of wave guide to narrow the spread of sound to be louder further away.
Your equalization made it sound more V-shaped, however I have the blast 1, and I would like to change it, WITHOUT LOSING QUALITY, but more bass of course hahaha, do you think your equalization loses a little bass? Does it keep the same as the original focused on bass? Or does it just change the higher notes?
@matheusaraujo6792 are you talking about my eq i posted a long time ago for my tribit stormbox blast? I don't have that speaker anymore unfortunately, this new eq is definitely just for the blast 2 I'm not sure how it would sound on the original blast
The custom Eq with software or application still not enough, still vshape. Need update firmware and fixed the basic Eq by the Tribit Team. The problem is the amplifier quality and the basic Eq tuning by the Tribit
@@Jagistreviews I remember the original blast didnt sound great at the release. It took a few updates to get it right. Hopefully itll be the same with the new one. The tuning and dsp could be better

@Victor_Angel no i don't hear any difference really, I think it was just so now you can connect the first and 2nd gens together
@@Jagistreviews Ok, now you can pair Blast 1 with Blast 2.?
@Victor_Angel yeah i believe so
I think you have achieved almost perfection with this new custom EQ, plz share tye EQ setting as I am planning to by Tribit Stormbox blast 2
