Usually I will pick merc over caddie, but for all almost same amount of money $150k, I will choose Escalade V over GLS63. The other option is Alpina XB7, but the updated front is completely horror story to me. I just hope the mark up on all these cars can be stopped.

This is arguably the nicest three row luxury SUV you can get on the market. Certainly from interior fit and finish standpoint. Plus the performance from AMG is spot on. I wish the Germans would realize that the only thing that sets apart these kind of cars from the American ones that they miss the mark on is having a truly spacious three-seat wide third row. You want the head and leg room to be a bit more and fully accommodating three seats in the third row. If they did that, the Cadillac Escalade V series would be seriously be lacking in the form of interior quality, luxury and comfort if they had a spacious three-seat wide third row seating. Love how you can move the second row forward as well.

This is super nice, but for the money, Id take an Alpina Xb7. Way more of a unicorn and just as fast. I will say, Im a bit biased toward bimmers…
