Remember, this was wayyyy back when we didn’t know what Spinosaurus actually looked like nor actually had all the studies. I reckon if this book was made in modern times, they would use the paleo-accurate spino. That or the Spinosaurus used in the book looks way more appealing and dangerous as opposed to the modern day spino.
I would say triceratops will win but if spinosaurus knocks or get triceratops frill then spinosaurus wins because he can get the belly also in water he can defeat triceratops so it's 50%50
