I don't know what to say about this one lol, I'm just glad I can upload it. This might be one of my least favorite episodes story-wise, as it's just back and forth arguing and yelling. The next one will be a bit more interesting; I know because I've already started working on it.

A very good message about ableism and how being different affects how you are perceived in society. You're also very good at building up different moods! Even if that much didn't happen in the episode, I wasn't bored a second.
Such a good job man! I love how you made Zola likable (I thought it was impossible, but here we are.) Also cool to see the dork squad before Layali gets to interact with them

Oooooh, I love the facial expressions! They're so expressive! Subtitles are honestly much needed since some of the actors don't speak very clearly, but this is just amazing! I can't wait for more.
The writing in this story is great! There is so much improvement in both the animation and the interpretation in this remake, and it is all so beautiful. So intense and enthralling.
AHHH Such beaut! I love the new part of the story saying Layali is the only one with a dreamwalker, along with Zola, and I must say; I had chills when Dreamwalker was informing Layali about Zola's dreamwalker.

The original Painted Flowers was good, but this remake is amazing! The writing is great, the animations are super smooth, and the backgrounds are simply stunning!
Hearing the word shifty in a animated series about painted dogs aka African wild dogs gives me a shifty feeling.

My understanding is that you don't really get it, nor would you ever be able to get it. Sometimes life hits you like a truck and even though you enjoy working on something like a story or animation you end up giving up on it because you a)lose interest b)get bored with it - I'd rather give up and take a few months long break and come back to it later when my head is clear and I enjoy it again rather than force myself to make another episode/write another chapter because I have to because people demand it even though I don't enjoy it and put out a crappy part just because people demanded it but I didn't really enjoy it. You are really, really rude and immature and I am honestly surprised by how much patience Ghostpaint was having with you - you've got my full respect for that!
Also sorry for butting in and reviving this but I've seen far too many demanding people lately thinking that the animators or content creators need do drop everything and bow down to them and their demands because they demand so - they are working on this story/animation on their own time and with their own resources, most of the people on these animations do, they don't have to do it - nobody is forcing them to make more or to make animations in the first place, yet they still do- you should be grateful and one day they might come back to unfinished animations- you don't know the reason why they quit.. maybe it was something personal, you should never judge somebody before you know the whole reason why they dropped an animation.

Her whole family makes me rage, her own MOTHER calling her a traitor and blaming her for the death of her father and having such jealousy towards her even when she herself has a shadow walker! Preposterous! And then her friends and uncle just believing her mother like that just because they can’t find any other evidence, and having no sympathy for her. So disappointing..
If they ever kicked me out I wouldn’t leave I would hold an argument and stand my ground.

This is so good! I love the improvement in the story! My only compliant is the audio of the voice actors is too low, My volume was on full and I could barely hear it, is there anyway to increase the volume?
Is there any instance in particular that you couldn't hear what was being said? Sometimes it's hard to have the audio consistent with different people having different kinds of mics, unfortunately a problem that's frequent in youtube series. There's also the fact that my programs, especially windows movie maker often butcher the audio quality. Megan and I try our best to balance everything out, sorry if this is a big issue.
I can live with it, however I just figured it was worth pointing out, all in all it was consistent aside from a few sudden dips (However that's most likely the software,) The last scene was the only real issue, The voice actors were very quiet throughout and I struggled to pick up a couple of lines.
I'm sorry! I tried to play with panning of voices in this episode so sometimes the audio may be quiet if one of your ear buds is out or not working as good as the other. It was an experiment to see if I could place the sound where the character was in the image. I probably won't do it in the future. So the voices will be louder next time! I won't pan so the voices will be in both ears to match the ambiance and music.
