I am no expert with Jet/Turbine engines even though I have been around quite a few. But it makes sense to me to have some sort of covers over the intakes to avoid birds being sucked into the intakes. Just a thought 👍🏿
Most turboprop turbines have a reverse flow inlet to prevent FOD ingestion. The input air does a 180 and the solids like birds, or sand impact the rear of the plenum and fall out of the intake stream. Very efficient and very reliable.
Much like car license plates, can _aircraft_ have... "vanity" tail numbers? I mean- the possibility of _that specific set of letters_ coming-up _randomly_ is just...
That’s the best tail number I’ve seen!
Ahah. Glad you like it. Thanks for watching.
These things are too cool, I absolutely love the catfish. This one really stands out in this red livery, and I love the registration as well.
Love it too. Always a lot of fun to catch one. Thanks for watching mate.
These P-180's are just the coolest dang things.
I fully agree. I absolutely love them.
Nice color
Love it. Thanks for watching.
C est toujours fun de voir un Piaggio. jolie video FX
Merci. C’est clair que cet avion est toujours cool à voir 😎
Such a cool view at 0:39 and also made for a great thumbnail 😎👍I like the red on this Piaggio, something different to see 😎👍
Thanks for watching Ed. The P180 is so cool to watch from the front or from behind. Love it 😎👍
One of the easiest pIanes to recognize even when't it's high at aItitude. I've seen it 2 or 3 times, beautiful machine.
Yeah. You can recognize it coming from miles away. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful in Ferrari red!
I fully agree. Love it. Thanks for watching.
I was just watching RC planes and this came up. I thought: "Holy Cow these scale modelers are amazing these days!"
😅😅
I would love to see RC planes looks Mike this one 😆

I'm sure that if there isn't, it's because they haven't been deemed necessary.
Thanks for watching.

its new modernized version?
It is an Avanti II not a Evo. Thanks for watching.
Why both a tail and a canard?
Canard and tail don’t have the same purpose. The canard role is to reduce the main wing loading.

Tail Numbers can be choose and customized. Thanks for watching.
It’s an amazing looking aircraft. But boy is it noisy for the people on the outside.
I absolutely love it but it is very noisy from the outside you’re right. Especially on final approach. Thanks for watching.
The rotation, and the im the first
I'm the first 😂
Thanks for watching 😎👍
I don’t like when they retract the landing gear too far
Aircraft with the registration "HUNK" should not be pink, even if it is as beautiful as Avanti 😀
Ahah… thanks for watching.
Looks like a flying bratwurst.
Never seen any bratwurst looks like that.
@ Well - one with wings and canards. And perhaps a Bratwurst deigned by Picasso.
@@derjaeger3321 okay.
