Two and a half years ago, you took the leap of faith and moved from Nebraska to Christchurch, and since then, you’ve truly embraced everything the country has to offer. The landscapes, the people, and the warmth of the community have all made New Zealand your home. Now, with the arrival of your little one, it’s even more special, what a blessing! Watching your baby grow and experience this incredible country through their eyes will be a gift. And when they’re older, you’ll have the chance to take them back to Nebraska to share your roots. Until then, enjoy every moment of raising your family in the land of the long white cloud. You’ve found a beautiful balance between your love for New Zealand and the bright future you're building for your growing family."👍 👶🍼
Congratulations on the new addition to your family! I totally get what you mean by loving your new home but still having strong ties to where you came from. As a transplanted Mainlander myself it is nice to recognise virtually all the places you mention in your videos. I can pretty much guarantee that your bebby will appreciate growing up in Christchurch!
You're glowing! Congratulations to you both! Babywearing was the only way to get things done. We loved that closeness. The years go fast, but the days are slow, if you soak up every moment you can, I swear it stops time, at least slows it. 💖 I LOVE how you share photos of your experiences/perspective in NZ. Hubby and I are actively working towards getting over to NZ with our Little Lovies (almost 5&2.5)! We're hoping in a year&a half or so to be there 🤞🥰 Thank you for your wisdom, perspective and for being such an inspiration! No pressure for videos, I'm certain your audience will always be here, enjoy as many moments as possible ❤ Love&light from TX (for now)!
You are so sweet! 🥹 I love wearing her. Truly the only way I am able to do anything around the house. Just gotta set her down to shower. 😅 Best of luck with your move! You would love seeing all of the little kids in their school uniforms. 💙💙💙
@eisonnewzealand awww, thank you!! I completely understand! For showers I used this vibrating baby bouncer (it was apart of a really awesome 2-in-1 swing) and used this incredible undersea crib toy, we called it "fishie-friends", it worked for a while(baby einstein "sea dreams" hiiiighly recommend if you can get it)! Then when you figure it out, they grow in some way and you have to figure it out all over again, haha! But thats growth! Worth every second!! ✨️ Thank you so much, truly! We cannot wait to soak it all in! 😭💕
First of all congratulations to both yourself and Keaton on your newest and bestest addition to the family (well done) 2 and a bit years has definitely gone very quick Hope NZ keeps bringing you joy as you’ve stated have a great Xmas and looking forward to your next vlog
We missed your vlogs, Katie!💖 Congratulations again on your beautiful baby💖 and on 2.5 wonderful years in New Zealand🎉. It’s such a joy to see you healthy, happy, and glowing alongside your adorable little one.💖 You guys made such a fantastic decision to move to NZ and start your lovely family. We’re thrilled that everything is turning out so perfectly for you.👏👍 Please keep vlogging-we miss your beautiful faces and amazing energy!💖 Oh, and Katie, you forgot to mention your doggie. Hope she’s doing well and she is ok to share your love with a little human💖! Sending lots of love to all of you.💖💖💖
By the way if you ever head to the far north in summer, my suggestion would be Matauri Bay, thats where the Green Peace ship "Rainbow Warrior" was sunk, I dont know if you know the story behind it, google it, but its a 30 minute drive from the main drag, and it will blow your mind when you arrive at the top and see the Cavalli Island and Matauri Bay below and see what all she has to offer, start your way down, you wont be disappointed. This has been my go to place since the early 80s. Im 63 now and it still rings my bells. ❤ .
Just a suggestion. Do something about the blind cords hanging down by your sliding doors. Once the baby starts to crawl and climbing on things that would be a real danger. Cheers.
I think it takes at least 3 years personally to feel you understand and fit into another country. Might be more for someone from a bigger cultural shift like the US to NZ, not just a simple change like going to OZ or UK for a kiwi. Congratulations on taking up the challenge and living in NZ and of course on your bub.😊
@@eisonnewzealand I know the immigration department are letting in too many Indians and other Asians who are changing the NZ culture and society which is a real shame.
What the hell. I have watched from the start but haven't seen anything from you for a while, Suddenly you come on with a baby saying you had been there two years! That went fast. Congrats. Just got my kid his NZ passport and my wife got her NZ Visa. We will be back there within the next couple of years too.

I agree to all of those!!

Well overdue, but priorities !!
Agreed! Hopefully we can develop a rhythm soon and I can record more!
You and your family are the sort of migrants that New Zealand needs.
Awe thank you so much!!
