- We hear from a specialist doctor and a dentist about osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ). It’s a very rare side effect of some osteoporosis medications but it raises many questions and concerns. We tackle some of the misconceptions like not being able to have a tooth out if you take these drugs or never starting a medication unless you go to the dentist first. We provide the facts so you are better informed, can take your medication with confidence and can also get the dental care you need.

Thank you for this webinar. Really informative and good to hear the statistics. Has helped me to formulate how I might approach dental care if I need drug therapy in the future. Thanks again.

Thank you for this very informative session. It covered literally everything that was concerning me as I face dental treatment in the future.
Brilliant … will mention to my GP as a useful tool for other OP patients with poor dental health. I have severe periodontal disease which puts me in the slightly higher risk. Having an extraction this week. Feel more informed. Referred to this video by Ros help line
