You should try the white corn, which you can eat raw. It is absolutely delish! And enjoy the Boh tea, which is locally produced, enjoy with scones with strawberry jam (locally grown strawberries)
You just walked passed Bala's Holiday Chalet. They have a lovely English garden and senic view of Tanah rata. Have a pot of Cameronian tea and freshly baked scones. Also the Sungai Palas Boh tea plantation. These are the must visit places for us whenever we are visiting Cameron Highlands.

You went to Kampung Sedia, a Malay kampung in the Cameron Highlands
Should try to hike up trail 5 to brinching or trail 10. All nearby tanah rata. Ask around or Google. Must try for nature lovers
Unfortunately didn't make it to those trails but did get to Coral Hill -- short hike but so lovely and fun!

You should go up north name Brinchang about 8 km from tanah rata..at Brinchang there are tourist attractions places
