I grew up having to use both and I think it used to boil down to what product had a coupon when my mom, and grandparents went shopping in the 60s,70s and 80s.... today I just buy whatever is cheaper that day I'm in the store(5 to 15 cents is the most difference)...Ajax has the blue things in it.... works great on Porcelain & Chrome & Stainless Steel
I love Ajax products and the powder is amazing! I always stock up when I go to Dollar Tree. It works so well for cleaning the bathroom, kitchen stove and countertops, etc. I also love the blue liquid Ajax all purpose cleaner too. Love the video! 💜
I just found your video searching for reviews because I was out of Bar Keepers at home and found some ajax I have never used and was blown away by how good it cleaned my bathtub!!
I love so many Comet products the bathroom cleaner smells so great! I also love the antibacterial spray u can get at dollar tree. But between the powder cleansers I prefer Ajax.

@@TheOptimalLife Have you used the new one recently? At the time you filmed this, that was the old formula scent. They now have a new and improved scent. It doesn’t smell like chemical lemons anymore. The original comet has a sweet pine smell.

The gripe is; comet in the past had a grit to it; it would take off practically anything. Then the easily scratched surfaces things popped up and comment had to reformulate the product to where now it is like talc powder! Now I use basic borax; or combine the two 50/50.
You would not want to use either on cooking pans as they have harsh ingredients that could seep into your food. I like to add table salt to my pans, add a small amount of water and scrub to remove buildup. Thanks for watching!
I used to be team Comet bc my grams & mom used it but I switched to Ajax bc it performed a bit quicker and mainly bc (attn. my WHITE GROUT ppl) the blue pigments brighten white/light grout whereas the green comet does no favors in the dinge dept.

You should try the new formula Lemon Comet. It actually smells like lemons and is so fresh. Ajax still smells like stale chalk to me 😩😩😩
I’ve used the Lemon scented Comet! It’s better than the original but still pretty strong to me. I’m glad there are lots of options available!

I haven’t tried the most recent one. I didn’t realize that they had updated it so recently. I’ll have to keep any eye out for it!

Sounds like to me you work harder on the Ajax side and less on the comet
I tried to put the same effort and time into both sides, although I edited out some of the scrubbing because it gets boring to watch.
