Wheels are so cool !!! I know In America we don’t drive much manuals, but it’d be cool to have a setup to play with and show friends what a Manual is like before they f up my clutch😂
I've beaten the Outlaw's Rush with a Fanatec CSL Elite and good old M3 GTR MW. I had so much fun on the way up the mountain drifting the car around and playing on the limits. Yea physics are weird but it kinda work with a wheel like the Fanatec who's got plenty of options to tune the FFB.
What if during e3, during EA's presentation, they show a teaser trailer for a new game and "riders on the storm" plays along with "EA GAMES: challenge everything" at the end
I have the Logitech G920 and to me its amazing with need for speed payback, i was disappointed to find out it didn't work with need for speed 2015 . With forza horizon 4 u are going to have to do a lot of tweaks to get the steering right , more force feedback is better and reduce steering angle. The crew 2 is straight up broken with the wheel u cant even boost hopefully they fix it with an update.
Basically, the controller only have small length of the axis. But in steering wheel, the steering has more length of the axis than the controller. Depends how much rotation you get. In my opinion, the true meaning of 'not brake to drift' in this game is that when you play with steering wheel, it does not give you any traction in turning
Playing arcade racers on a wheel is an awful experience. I played Burnout Paradise for so long and tried Burnout Paradise with a wheel and I became a scrub instantly.
@@mun123keet Exactly man, after playing Assetto Corsa and Dirt Rally, I tried some arcade games with my wheel and I sucked. I can't play arcade games with a wheel, maybe games like Dirt 4 that have a more realistic feeling with the wheel but thats about it
having a simpler control should mean that the automated assits are slower. you shift faster with the manual, but it's harder to do. same in Forza, if you have auto shifting, it always shifts early and doesn't downshift enough when accelerating. Along with traction control cutting power too early, so it's slower. assisted braking brakes early, ABS braking works like traction control, it's quicker to stop with ABS off and precise braking force than ABS on and full force all the time. that's all because otherwise people with full assists (which is autopilot in Forza) would win everything just by taping down their throttle
Play NFS undercover with a wheel. Because it doesn’t have progressive steering, if you try to turn the wheel locks itself in full lock one way or the other. It’s pretty much impossible to play.

The Corvette that you used already has this issue with the gearbox , in auto it acts like a manual , so i guess using the paddles gave you the same issue , yet using the shifter works better for the Corvette. I believe some other cars are like that. You should play Assetto Corsa with this wheel and mess about in the R34! You can push the best virtual recreation of the Skyline to the limits without consequences. And I'm curious how it compares to the real thing!

Bro I play with stability off have been since shift the turning and traction is a little touchy but I think it shows the cars true ability and everything is on u basically makes u better I think it also helps throw your car sideways that's my own experience ...
i don't like how the cars don't turn with the same deadzone as the wheel because when i have my wheel turned all of the way my car is only turned about half way

If it messes up then leave the game on nfs payback like dont close it then put the console into rest mode with nfs still there and then unplug the wheel from the console and turn it on plug the wheel before you do then log back in on the same account and then play nfs and it’s gonna be better
Aren't there settings for the wheel? Feedback, dead space, sensitivity, etc? Maybe lower the feedback and sensitivity, add some dead space. For Forza I have killed the feedback completely and auto centring.
