Here is the story so far:
an earthquake happened and was so big it caused a sinkhole. The earthquake derailed a train and also caused a tsunami that was so big and the water was so cold that it reduced the temperature. The drastic drop in temperature caused a MASSIVE tornado that ripped apart the city. The tornado and the earthquake distracted air traffic control and the plane's radar went crazy. The tornado also caused the planes to fall from the sky. All of this caused giant bob to wake up and wreak havoc on the mayor. Everyone went crazy so they started to rob banks in order to fund their evacuation from the city. The renegades also decided that this was their time to strike since everything was already going wrong so they released the zombies.
and an old lady decided to ignore it all.

Edit: if you do a volcano I would suggest using the zombie stuff such as the burnt cars and the blown out building to act like they were hit by the lava and boulders I think that it would look really cool!

there was no unstoppable movie reference, there was no crash in that movie, (other then that one train) and just because there is a train crash it does not mean it was a unstoppable reference
A train is transporting a nuke and derails and boom!!!

have oblivious grandma meet oblivious grandpa and the can be oblivious together. in one episode they could be talking, the next at the bar or something, oblivious grandpa(or grandma!) could propose sometime, and then they could have their wedding while a aliens, or a volcano, or anything crazy is happening. Sorry bout the rambling, hope you consider this
So for your next episode what I was thinking is that there could’ve been a bunch of kids throwing rocks at an oil tanker and the tanker blew up while a passenger train was passing

Random theory for the runaway train: The train had left another yard in some other tiny town and was heading to Camodo's town but the engineer had a heart attack and died on the train and to make things worse the train was on notch 8 or full throttle. The train was coming in to its destination but on the turn the front wheels on the first engine came off the track while the back ones were still on. once the train got closer to the station the 2nd engine derailed snagged a tie on the track and broke away from the train and started heading for the station and most of the cars behind the 2nd engine started to derail. (btw the train wasn't effected by the earthquake because of how heavy the train was)
