Have one of these, although less boy racer than the version shown here. Best car I've ever owned so far. Comfortable. Quiet. Decent MPG with the 3 litre Diesel engine. Gobbles up the miles effortlessly. Powerful as f***. And if it proves as reliable as my old Freelander 2 over it's lifetime I'll be a very very happy man.
so Why? Does the back centre consol intrude soo much into the foot well of the rear passengers? Where is the hybrid version? Where is the new defender this year?

If you want a sporty SUV there is nothing better than a Porsche Cayenne/Macan. If you want a big and elegant luxury SUV, I would go with Volvo. Yet there will always be people who will buy this, people buy the BMW X6 after all..
inchskater The Porsches are sporty, and the majority of SUV owners will only use them on road, however, if I had to use one of road, I would not rely on a Porsche. RRS, for me.
+Celina Smith no definately not but lets be honest what vehicle really is worth its money all cars are money pits whatever you buy first theres the purchase price then you pay tax every year then you pay tax on the fuel every year then toll roads etc but unfortuneately in todays world they are a necessary evil

But land Rover still make this car , so i think people buy it to have the best mix of SUVs on the market !
