    Cliff notes of this book is all the Black History you need for high school it talks you from slavery , reconstruction, segregation right up to the civil rights movement..

    Dubois built no institutions of learning, never was a slave, never got his hands dirty with labor! All he had in the end for me were just words. In the end he died in exile declaring his life to be a failure.
