    Those old international"s are just amazing.Very little horsepower but they"ll pull like hell!When I was a kid I worked for a farmer who had a farmall H,crank start only,it alway"s sat outside with a spackle bucket over the exhaust and it alway"s started!What I alway"s enjoyed most about tractors & chainsaws is that when your done you can see your results.Unlike lifting weights or going to the gym,plus you can"t beat free heat with a woodstove.

      Thanks Mark, your right buddy! That 10hp has a lot back in it up haha, impressive to say the least! I like the hand start on em’ to me it seems more nostalgic :) yes the satisfaction of getting to see instant results with the saws and tractors sure is great! I appreciate the comment, take care!

    You should really consider getting a proper draw bar for Your Cub. You may end up cracking a final drive housing. The Cub is the nicest tractor for firewood nice and small, great clearance can fit anywhere. Been hauling wood with our Cub since 1949. Great Videos. Thanks.

    There's certainly therapy in a sharp, smooth-running saw. I was fortunate to cut and split two totes (tops removed) from logs on hand on this ideal day in the mountains of northwest Georgia. It was in the 30s with sun and wind here. My 039 is my go to saw. Thank you for the video, my friend!

    Hey was watching some of your other vids they are great. I did notice that the cubs final drives are whining quiet allot. Did you change the oil in the final drives? If not pull the pans off dump the oil wipe them out reinstall and refill 80 90. Also pulling the oil pan and cleaning it out is a good idea. The sludge and crap that builds up is kinda crazy. Also the air cleaner element it never gets attention We pulled elements off both Cubs. We soaked the whole assembly in diesel fuel (the element does not come out) and the dirt that came out was shocking it is a wonder the engine could breathe at all. Also the small line that goes from the filter to the engine was completely plugged. (thats bad) We cut the line as it was impossible to clean out. We replaced it with a clear poly line so we can keep an eye on it. Just leave an inch of line on each end of the fittings to push the poly line onto like a nipple just use zip ties to hold the line on. It is vacuum not pressure so the line will stay in place. Cool vids i am still catching up.

      @OhioHillTopsHobbyFarm  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks James! I do need to change the oil in those final drives. I know the amount of sludge in the pto/transmission case area was crazy. I bet the oil pan is nasty too. I’ll get around to cleaning it on up this summer, it sure is a fun tractor! I appreciate ya watching our videos, and I enjoy your comments. Take care my friend!

    Eastonmade log splitters just sponsored Joe's Premium firewood channel. He's gonna get an ULTRA to use for the show. It would be cool to get in a situation like the Morgans where you've got companies wanting you to demonstrate all kinds of stuff. Joe's splitter was shot.....

      @OhioHillTopsHobbyFarm  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Tom! That’s good for Joe, I’m sure he will get a lot of great use out of it. That would be neat but at the same time I watch mikes channel and think that there isn’t to many people who are fortunate enough to operate the way he does. I like the challenge of improvising things the way most farmers and small timers would do and try to show people just the way I do things :) I appreciate all the comments my friend, take care!!

    i was actually looking for the same tractor for the same reason. plan to use it instead of the four wheeler for the heavier trailer loads through the hills in the woods. they are selling around $2500-4000 around central minnesota now.... most of them look restored in the last 15ish years. worth it ?
