A New Niche - The Dropbox Story

Can you imagine losing your USB drive on a vacation, and knowing that there is nothing you can do about it? Well, turns out, someone did think of this as a serious problem. And created Dropbox as the solution. Today the platform has over 500 million users across the world.
But this 'solution' did not come about so easily. Drew Houston, the founder, had to learn a lot outside of his professional career as an engineer, to be able to maintain a successful business.
Also, did you know, Dropbox was close to shutting down?
Drew almost failed at running it well as a business, and he still dismissed an offer to sell his company, an offer that was made by Steve Jobs himself! But why? Well, Dropbox has an inspiring story to offer, so watch the video above to know more !

Historically incorrect: iCloud didn't exist in 2007, in its place there was iDisk which was crappy. OneDrive back then was called SkyDrive. And I think Google Drive also didn't exist at that time. The reason why Dropbox got successful because it was dead simple to use and just worked.
