I like how two of the reactors kept promising to secede. It made me think they had armies in each other's countries and the fate of the nations depending on their meme lore.
“They were still sending letters!”-Shade when talking bout the 90s, woo, I laughed out loud at that one! 🤣 Shade is always *so funny!* Like, her after, _not_ getting the nose for the first emoticon was _also_ hilarious! Definitely one of my favorites, just wish she was featured more! 🫶🏻
I loved Mini Moni and Hello!Project long before the meme came out of the Dramatic PD. To this day it was my favorite fun meme fact because it was so fun seeing some small part of this group i loved be such a big thing.
I was literally singing the hamster dance song TODAY. I believe the phrase is "lives in my head rent-free" In case anyone didn't know, it was originally sung by the rooster minstrel in Disney's Robin Hood. I like to sing the original slow version. There was also a club music remix released in 2000 that did quite well in the charts.
I remember almost all of these and I've been doing pretty well. Except for the dancing baby meme. I wasn't thinking cg was advanced enough for that in the 90s. My guess was 2010s
It’s was originally made by a company just as a sort of demo for their product, which was an animation plug-in. It went viral and they made screen savers for pc using it. One of the original memes
The REAL source of Killroy. Some historians point to James J. Kilroy, an inspector at the Fore River Shipyard in Braintree, MA, who supposedly wrote "Kilroy was here" on various parts of ships as they were being built (after the ships were completed, these inscriptions would have been inaccessible, hence "Kilroy"'s reputation for getting into impossible-to-reach locations). James Kilroy actually used the mark to keep dockworkers from claiming they had done work by reclaiming the same work. One the mark was applied that stopped and Kilroy went overseas for the soldiers to find and he became an icon representing the American presence.
Thank you for the reminder of i can haz cheezeburger! Wow, i haven't used that meme since 2011 but i used to love going over to lolcats... IIRC there was a feature where you could create a meme
They probably film batches of videos at a time and then post them on a schedule, because most of the reactors are in school/work so they have to do batches otherwise some people won't be available to record.
I actually make memes and send them to my grandkids. My second oldest granddaughter said that she shares them with her friands and said nobody else has grandparents that make memes.
2:41 I screwed up and actually lived this meme. Back in the days when there were malls, in my 20s, my ex wife and I were leaving j c penney with a friend couple and in walked not just the most beautiful Indian woman I've ever seen in my life but the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life. Period. Almond eyes, long straight hair that was so black that it shone blue in the light, dressed in a sarong. I can still picture her, to this day, in my mind. She looked me in the eyes, smiled, and I was enthralled. That meme reenacts that exact moment. I rightfully caught all kinds of hell because of that. I couldn't help myself. Months later, we were hanging out with the same friends we were at the mall with and my ex brought it up. She finally admitted that she really didn't blame me. Her exact words were, I'm about as straight a woman as can possibly be and I fell in love too. It turns out that she wasn't upset at all but just played it that way. She got off diaper duty, dishes, cooking dinners, alot of laundry and a whole lot of housekeeping because I felt so guilty. My jaw dropped when she admitted that. My buddy and his wife have never laughed so hard. Even they admitted that the girl, whoever she was, was absolutely gorgeous. And it was at that moment that my ex told me that she peeked over her shoulder and the girl had turned around and was watching me walk away. My ex actually brought it up recently and she admitted, to this day, she's never seen a girl as beautiful is that one. Now don't get me wrong. My ex wife was beautiful but this girl? Never before or since have I ever seen a woman as beautiful as she was.
funniest part of the whole video: "...went on a 120 mile bike run" like.. what does a bike run even look like? is that when you carry the bike on your back and go for a run? are you running along side the bike while pushing it? what exactly is going on here?!
was that hamster dance song taken from a disney tune? i remember playing a disney song record at the babysitters when i was a kid (~late 70s) and i swear the tune was on there in a different form...
19:43 This entire episode was recorded that long ago? I thought they recorded this like a month before its released date (today).😮 Also, RIP DOGE. You’re dearly missed. 😢🙌🐕🕊️🤍
"there was no social media, they were still sending letters" ~Sade 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hamster Dance later had to change the song because Disney went after them for the original audio. The audio clip is from Disney's Robin Hood sped up.
3:12 😂😂😂tha synchro with Brian and Izzy tho!!
The groundhog. Izzy said 2000s and yall put an x on her. She got it right.
Tardar Sauce's (Grumpy Cat's) owner did his legacy dirty by turning him into a NFT not long after his passing.
I hope no one bought it
I watched the Mr Beast video Izzy was in, so congratulations IZZY, I was so excited when i saw her
it aint Brian if he doesn't have his favorite Ramen hoodie on for the video lmaooooo
I LOVE that the Hamster Dance was included in this! I watched it all the time when I was in junior high and it still lives rent-free in my brain.
Congrats to Izzy for winning 100k USD, tax free I hope, from MrBeast
Brian yelling “blink! Blink!!” Was so funny to me 😂
I've had the hamster dance stuck in my head occasionally for decades
I was feeling like a proud internet OG getting these all.... and then wondered what I've been doing with my life.
The Bad Luck Brian guy has appeared in a commercial for auto insurance with Shaq.
Someone tell Izzy the cat was not named Tuna. It was Tartar Sauce
15:26 prairie dog: “someone in this room……is a murderer!”
I like how two of the reactors kept promising to secede. It made me think they had armies in each other's countries and the fate of the nations depending on their meme lore.
I absolutely love the clue Gina gave Brian for the Bad luck Brian meme and his reaction lol 😂
Was scared I would know them all, but no, so I guess that means I can continue checking out even more memes. Good to know.
14:35 yes i know it from Ally McBeal
In the middle Izzy got 00's right but was Xed for some reason
2010s memes unmatched
Bonus point: The Hampster Dance song is a sped-up Whistle Stop, from Disney's Robin Hood.
ROUND 3 at 14:44 answer was early 2000's, Izzy had it right but was marked an X????????
She'd be tied for the most correct... if in the tally they didn't award that point... just saying. Big oversight 😝
Am I crazy or shouldn't Izzy have gotten the point at 14:56 considering she did say the 2000s?
Big fail by Brandel on the LOTR meme. 😂
i am not proud.......but i also havent watched LOTR in 20 years LOL
I have a picture of the "You Don't Say?" meme on my wall... but with googly eyes....
Brian didn't get bad luck Brian. Impossible lol
“They were still sending letters!”-Shade when talking bout the 90s, woo, I laughed out loud at that one! 🤣

Cool story bruh
Izzy's hair looks AMAZING
For the longest time I thought the guy in the 1st meme was Cary Elwes. Lol
He ran with a bike for 120 miles?! I would have just ridden the bike.
13:40 I remember when that baby got famous. I was in high school. I remember that we called it "The Ally McBeal baby".
Love that show especially when rdj came on there
@@asiaroberson3442 it was a great show. At the boarding school we watched it before we went to sleep. We had to sleep at 10 thirty back then. 😊

ICHC was so iconic and got me really addicted to memes. lolcats were the best back then.

I love this vid sm. Thanks for this. Brings me back lmaooo
The dancing baby meme would have been way more difficult to pull off in the 80s, as CGI was still in its infancy at that time.
Aww. I have multiple sclerosis. That's awesome the blinking guy did that. ❤
I remember almost all of these and I've been doing pretty well. Except for the dancing baby meme. I wasn't thinking cg was advanced enough for that in the 90s. My guess was 2010s

Hamster dance song is the tune from the whistle stop, animated Disney robin hood movie
Drew Scanlon looks so much like my brother in that meme i actually looked him up once, just to be sure.
RIP Doge

First time I hear about a dancing baby
Thanks internet for bringing me this early into the video, loooooove to see Izzy and Brian together, my fav duo! 🤩🥰❤
I feel like i should be concerned by the fact that i knew almost all of the memes 😂
That tune for the Hamster Dance sounded an awfully lot like the Oo-de-lally song from Disney's Robin Hood.
I miss the days of ' Philoso-Raptor' and 'Success Kid' :T
my textone is still Stevens ringtone even after almost a decade later.
14:12 Um, we had email in the 1990s. 👴
I just went on a tour of the USS Massachusetts and they had these guys everywhere on the ship! (Kilroy was here)
Juan looks really handsome and cute 🥰❤
I spend way to much time watching memes, i knew them all :')
I remember seeing the Ermahgerd meme in like 2011 but it was Ermahgerd Stone Cold. If this was filmed in May why was it uploaded in September

Salt BAE: I've seen interviews with people that have gone to his restaurant that the food really isn't all that good. Fairly meh.
Black Ops 2 music in the video? That's lowkey funny
Kilroy was the 30s. This was an old thing when I was a kid in the 60s.
We have a whole collection of Pepe Frog emojis in our Slack channel at work.
"this is fine" is my watch screen 😆
I was today years old when I learned the blinking meme wasn't Cary Elwes.
You should listen to the song "Know Your Meme" by the TH-camr called Hot Dad.
It's sad to hear of Doge the dog's death.
They filmed this in May and were watching in September 😮🤯

Grumpy Cat's name was Tard, not Tuna...where did she ever get Tuna from lol
I think she’s confusing it with Tuna, the dog with the big overbite.
Did Izzy and Brian mean "concede" when they said "secede"? #wordsarehard
Of course not, they are claiming sovereignty from the USA.
They’re creating their own country, Reactopia
