Ben is very smart and intelligent but he becomes uncomfortable with the truth of Jesus and the gospel because he is also very prideful. For him to consider the claims of Christ, it would not only involve admitting that he has been wrong all of his life but it would also confront him in terms of how he should respond to the fact that Jesus is Lord.

Yes, he’s very prideful about his heritage, but also has a lot to lose in denying it. His family is Jewish his wife and her family are Israeli. His community, friends and confidants are all Jewish. You also have to admit that he hasn’t seen the best of Christian examples set for him either. He has some difficult decisions to make, and we just need to pray for him.

@thepsalmbird-No Jew is going to look at the "Christian" God-this blonde haired/blue eyed version of a man making the TRIDENT sign with a crown of thorns around is heart and think "Oh, yeah, that's the Messiah!" No, not on your life or mine or theirs. The dichotomy is that Jews think Messiah is a Christian and most Christians (who say they follow Him) don't seem to realize He is a Jew! He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Now, the Jews of His day, being subjugated by Rome, were looking for a Messiah figure to get them out from under Rome, not to save THEM FROM THEIR SINS! "Will You at this time RESORE THE KINGDOM TO ISRAEL?" Acts 1:6 Basically, He tells them No! Why? Because first He had to redeem us, then resurrect us, then restore us, so we can live in His Kingdom, which is why we pray Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth AS it is in heaven. Yeshua (Salvation) not Jesus (a transliteration of the Greek "Iesous") is a SEMITE, a Jew, which is why there is so much anti-Jew hatred to begin with-and if anyone is an anti-Jew, then they are anti-Christ or anti-Messiah because He is a Jew (not as in Judaism or as in Christianity) as in not religion but in relationship with THE Messiah! Blessings to all.

So, it's ok that the jews are god's priests on earth, the holy ppl of god, but gentiles continue doing whatever they want, unless they feel like following the Torah?

I agree. To go full Ben Shapiro Beast Mode on Christ, will either result in him making several missteps and taking the hit for it, or not misstepping, but still alienating a large portion of his base which are christian. On top of that Ben himself has spoken in Isreal about how Christians, specifically american ones are Isreal's biggest supporters around the world. So both personally, professionally and jewishly, Ben realizes that targetting your closest allies with direct attacks on one of their core belief's is an unwinable position.
By the same token, Vivke Ramasamy and Tulsi Gabbard are both Hindu, but you don't hear them going around pooping Christians, or going into why they don't follow christ. They chose to focus on what unites us, not what could divide us.

      "Why?", you might ask?
Because we read in THE HOLY BIBLE (especially in The New Testament) how places are called for-example 'golgoTHas' and 'gabbaTHa' in-hebrew... now; if de authors living at the time didn't mean to have the 'th-sound'- they would've simply written 'T' (Tau) but they wrote 'Θ/ⴲ' (THietah) when writing-down how things are pronounced 👉🏻in The Hebrew Language👈🏻 meaning that The Hebrew Language has to feature a 'Th-sound'! (like the 'th' in English, because it is pronounced the same as in Greek)
Do you see the logic of my argument?
      This is sound BIBLE-teaching.
All I know is that the language which every so-called "christian" church claims is that language (of The Holy People/The Hebrew Language) doesn't have a th-letter nor a th-sound, meaning that THE HOLY BIBLE disagrees with them, and so should we.
It is impossible to form a 'thhhh-sound' from the language that is spoken in isis-ra-el, and so it cannot biblically be The Hebrew Language, and unless you want to twist scripture: then you'll agree with that conclusion. THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS even outwardly witness how the israel that would come-back would be egypt and sodom in-secret, so since that's the case (because GOD will not lie) then it would be very weird if that filthy sodom-country would actually speak The Holy Tongue Hebrew Language, right????? Honestly I am not surprised given the type of Christians he surrounds himself with on the daily wire. I know this sounds judgemental at first but hear me out... I remember once I saw a daily wire thing where all the main daily wire guys are on there, the show they do with them all together every month or so. They were taking viewer questions and someone asked something to the Christians there how they felt about how in their view Ben wouldn't be in heaven or something similar to that. I was shocked as you had at least 4 Christians standing there given the most obvious opportunity, in a way that would have been polite and not one of them could accurately state a Christian view on this and instead just made jokes about how he would probably get in anyway or something.
Now, I am not saying that is the whole reason he is rejecting Jesus. Honestly there are a lot of reasons that seem pretty clear he is rejecting God but this part doesn't help when he finally gets asked this question around 4 Christians not one of them can give him anywhere near a Christian answer. It was downright embarrassing.
And now to speak plainly though, it does make sense. Don't get me wrong, I like these guys but i'm going to criticize a bit here: Jeremy has a large history of twisting scripture to whatever he wants it to mean, even if he is saying something that is true he will still then use scripture that doesn't support that and pretend it does quite regularly. Then you have Klavan which is really a very liberal Christian in a lot of ways. Last time I was watching him he was going to an episcopal church which is basically a liberal wasteland these days ,and he still refuses to accept what God says about homosexuality in the Bible for various personal reasons. And then two are Catholic which regardless of being pro and anti that which is another discussion, their reasons are pretty ridiculous. I don't mean this so judgemental sounding, and I feel bad for saying it as I am no model Christian either, but it still is a case when those are your every day model Christians who can't give the basic gospel when handed on a silver platter an opportunity to, it sure as heck doesn't help.

I once heard Matt say that if a person really truly loved another person in this lifetime, he thought God could ‘do something with that’ when the subject of belief or non belief in Jesus was being discussed. So, he really thinks God has a way to accept that person into heaven, who denies Christ, because that person loves another person. I like Matt and I do think he’s a believer but Ben won’t get any guidance on the necessity of trusting in Christ with this sort of nonsense talk, which is definitely not what the Bible teaches.

Ben is a lot like the rich young ruler, he's kept all the commandments but can't give up that one thing. It's also hard for Ben to be wrong. We saw this during Covid when he was all behind wearing masks and getting shots. Calling people stupid on Twitter for refusing the shot, but would not engage with the evidence that he was wrong. • @CatholicMemeTheory
      @CatholicMemeTheory 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

You are wrong, it had everything to do with Christ. God takes precedence over everything. She wasn’t using the bible to be passive aggressive against Ben, context matters in this situation.
Unlike most of the political talking heads of Christian conservative media, Candace had a different view of the Israel-Palestine situation. Regarding to American political interest she does simply doesn’t support or justify Israels war; she said she doesn’t want American boys to be shipped to Israel to die for Israel, & doesn’t want the USA to fight for Israel. Additionally she said no one has the right to genocide another.
Ben Shapiro at a private Jewish party condemned her & someone secretly publicized the recording. Then after it became viral, Candace tweeted this out. Its an explanation to why she doesn’t support Israel.
Frankly no Christian should support what Israel is doing to the Palestinians, annexing Gaza, destroying non military/combat related institutions & infrastructure is not war, they are doing that so the Palestinians can never return. However the conversation goes at the end of the day, Israel & Israeli support for this “war” effort, leads in death of humans. It has everything to do with Christ, one cannot serve two masters.

Paul spent a great deal of his epistles addressing both the false religion of the Orthodox Jews and the converts that clinged to that religion.

@@theeternalsbeliever1779 well, the wider sect of Judaism is now called orthodox Judaism or rabbinic Judaism. But I think you are talking about biblical Judaism v.s orthodox Judaism. The religion that God established through Moses is still known as Judaism.

Accepting Jesus is really rejecting “modern Judaism”. Lets not sugarcoat it.

Ben definitely has some beef with Candace. Although, I side with Ben regarding Israel and the middle east, he definitely hasn't handled himself well with this whole thing

On balance, I don't think he's handled himself too poorly in regard to Candace -- not flawlessly, but pretty well in comparison to Candace's own self-serving intellectual dishonesty on the subject of Israel-Hamas.

For me Ben is one of the worst propagandists for Netanyahu and his fanatics (note: not Israel or Jews) one can find. He has tweeted faked picture(s?) to justify the carnage etc. Also, he has made his reputation with debating college students, but is in trouble when William Lane Craig friendly lays down his arguments. Ben is seriously overrated.

    • @benwolk2028

@@perussaataja Everything you said here is incorrect:
Ben has not tweeted fake photos, but photos of Hamas atrocities verified by multiple sources.
Not sure what you mean by "propaganda," since Ben has simply stated that Israel has a right to defend itself and to exist as a Jewish state.
Ben is friendly with Netanyahu but not uncritical. Just the a day or two ago he pointed out that Netanyahu is an incrementalist in his response to Hamas, which accounts for much of the pushback he is receiving within his own government and in Israel more broadly. The truth is, if Netanyahu left office today, the Israeli attacks in Gaza would almost certainly intensify.
Ben does debate college students but he has also run circles around Ezra Klein, Cenk Uyger, and other older, experienced opponents in long-form debates and conversations.
Again, I think he's badly off-base in his understanding of Jesus, but that doesn't justify distorting and misstating his record as a whole.

I think he is unconfortable because of all the things that are involved if he does believe. The change in paradigme will affect his social life, and also his closer family, and his family at large. Who knows what that would do to his marriage...
It's a whole life believing one thing, and people sometimes feel more secure believing what they have always believed, it's safer in many ways, so people strugle to stay in their confort zone.

      The rich young ruler.
He went away from Jesus’ presence with his head down because he recognized that what Jesus was asking him to do in order to follow him was too great of a cost. Ben is exactly in the same position.
I think in many ways, Ben has asked God, “Lord what must I do to gain eternal life?” Christ’s Spirit responds to him through the scriptures and those who have preached the Gospel to him and yet… the cost is too great so he walks away discouraged. Ben will have to lose a lot but it will be nothing compared to what can be truly gained. “For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.” Mark 8:35

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You beat me to this. I was planning to address this issue. so glad you did. BEN IS CLEARLY RUNNING FROM JESUS, BECAUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HE IS AND HAS BEEN WRONG ABOUT JESUS, WILL ALSO EXPOSE HIS HYPOCRISY. HE WOULD HAVE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HE FOLLOWED JEWISH TRADITION RATHER THAN "FACTS", TRUTH OR EVIDENCE. But we have to keep after him.

Exactly my thoughts. For someone who’s motto that seems to be facts over feelings he sure seems to get uncomfortable when pressed with the truth of Jesus. Nonetheless I hope he will know Jesus one day

Ben has been on my prayer list for awhile. I think the idea that Jesus IS who he says he is would be that Ben's world and all that he thought he knew (pride) would be too much for him to handle, and that's the point. His world , knowledge, understanding would collapse, but a new one would emerge...as he humbles himself. Only God could do that. He wouldn't regret it. His eyes would be opened and he'd really have a goofy smile on his face. He would feel incredible. My stepdad is a Messianic Jew and a preacher and he calls himself a completed Jew. He is old school. He has his own youtube channel where he interviews ppl with their testimonies called New Hope in the Lord. Thank you and a happy new year to you and your family.
