this is my fav song of Jason's....Awesome - songwriters with meaningful lyrics...When I first heard it I really identified with his lyrics...been there, seen it, done it and survived ....and now I am far to old to care about that now....live your lives eyes and hearts forward...don't let the baggage weigh you down! ....Live high and mighty!
well,at first i couldnt understand anything because i am from spain but..i knew that he wanted say me something, now i can speak english a bit and that man can make me cry where and when he wants. jason, you have opened my eyes.
Why the sad-face? He's SOOO good live. If you've yet to catch him live, you're missing out. Personally, I think he sounds 1000x better live than on record. Plus, he's so entertaining. He just has that "something" that draws you in.

Yes indeed, Jason Mraz plays nylon strung classical guitars.
@StAntonioS The song is about his parents' divorce. He was 8 at the time.
Why the sad-face?

zeker waar, die hand!
yea, the song is very sad. I think it's actually about Jason himself. His parents were divorced when he was very young.
A song you must stop anything else you're doing, and just listen =)
P.S.: He is using nylon strings?
SO... is this really about his childhood??
lol agreed
he didn't actually wipe a tear did he? 2:23
ya it looks like he wipes a tear at 2:23.. :(
