Generally I only spend money on scotches I’ve already tried and liked. I tend to try out small pours at bars until I find a bottle I truly like, and then splurge. Lagavulin 16 is my go and that’s how I discovered it.
I wrote this comment in a previous video sorry for sending it again and I hope that you saw it from the first time. Hi mr sinatra my name is Saud I’m 22 years old and I’m from Saudi Arabia I’ve been watching your videos for almost 4 years now I started wet shaving because of you I learned some life lessons from your stories and daily life things that you talk about and after 1 year of wet having I bought my first fatboy and I’m planning to give it to my son when I have family later it just that I had a fun time watching you and it feels kinda special when you grow watching a guy shaving talking about his life thank you for everything I hope you give me a shoutout in your next video it would mean a lot Kind regards, Saud
I’m 17 and have been shaving since 15 but I just started getting into safety razors about early March, your videos have helped me a bunch. The first safety razor I bought was the King C Gillette and just a few weeks ago I found my grandpas old Fat Boy and have been using that ever since. Also if I could get a shout out, that would be much appreciated. My name is Jesse Galloway
Could I get a shout out for my wife. She's been doing online Master's courses while working full time as a teacher and still killing it on the grades, but it's definitely been taking a toll on her. We watch your videos together and I'm sure she'd really appreciate it. Her name is Lydia.
Yes! The old-style Sinatra Lennon video with Grandpa Grungy, Margaritas in the Arctic and Osage Rub. I'll ignore the blade. Will you be able to visit Liverpool on your trip to England? Have a good weekend. 👍
Hello from Poland! I just bought my first safety razor and I was looking for some tutorials. Now I watch your videos every few days and it's really relaxing to hear your stories while you shave :)
Nothing like mixing up a shave routine. Its what makes it enjoyable right? One of my work colleagues said to me today you growing a beard? Nope, just forgot to shave this week... I rarely leave it that long to shave but we are all human and sometimes have difficult and busy weeks etc. I prefer using my 1961 Fatboy in this scenario with a Wizamet blade when the facial hair gets that long. Setting 5 first pass then a second with setting 3 against the grain usually does it - no problem at all coupled with modern day Gillette Pro Shave Gel which works great and has a nice cooling effect on the skin as well. Fatboys are just so versatile, dependable and user friendly. Its what makes them a great all rounder DE razor.
You said that you look not quite well under the sun, but I think this lighting fits you amazingly. Maybe it's just my taste, but I think you've aged just fine. I'd like to look in my fifties like you do. I'm 19, switched to safety razor two weeks ago - mainly because of you and your channel. Haven't regretted anything so far. Haven't used my previous cartridge Fusion 5 not a single time ever since. Also surprised how easy it was to learn the technique and get familiar with the thing. Looking forward to try these Feather blades you praise; I've been using Gillette Platinum and I think they are pretty good. Thank you so much!
I've seen you use osage rub many times. I finally added it to an Amazon order. I see why so many like it. The cool feeling goes on for a long time. I have a grudgy slim adjustable . It's my camping razor. Thank for another video. The walking videos are a welcome change as well. Take care.
gotten a few butterfly adjustables, but I keep going back to 2 and 3 piece razors. they are just solid, the blade and body become one. Though I'll admit I'm too lazy to unscrew every time and properly wash it out between shaves 😁😁 just a few turns is enough for a quick rinse tho
Great hang, SL! Just got your last signature brush in the mail yesterday and immediately shaved using it to lather up from a Tabac shave stick. It was awesome!!! Enough lather to get me through the entire shave. Very nice. Shaved with a 1972 Gillette adjustable (I found a picture of my dad using one and decided to get one). Great stuff. Keep being awesome, man. You're the best!
oh dear i just received the cheapest version of Oneblade, forgot it property blades here that kind of blades are fare and few in between 2 sites has them one i rarely use another more expensive. shave was good but when i´ve used the 10 blades that came with the razor no more using it handle is not good to hold too " sharp " on the edges, anyways back on topic great Friday shaving video oh why not shout me out even you didn once a long time ago stay safe, cheers....Peter Jensen from Denmark
Hey Peter. Check out videos from Subie Shaves. He's got a few different videos on making different blades work in the OneBlade razor. I don't know how, but after fiddling with it a few times, Mine must have loosened up just enough to accept GEM blades which are MUCH cheaper. Good luck!
Hey Mr. Lennon, I think you forgot to beat the devil out of the brush, just keeping you honest my man. Next episode, lets get back on track, ok buddy? Alright! 😉
Been on a johnnie walker kick lately. Not sure why, but the black label just spoke to me (im typically an aberlour man). I thought well if thats good I should try the blue! Hated it lol. I know you aren't a smokey scotch guy but give the JW black a try. Its primarily speyside with just a whisper of wood ash. Fruity but interesting. Checks some boxes for sure. I love when you talk scotch SL, lol. Glad you and yours are well! Joe D
Guess i would like a shout out for no particular reason lol. I got into typewriters half a year ago and i managed to get 2, i love them so much, but when in home i can't use them because my parents hate their sound and when I'm in the student dorm i can't use them because of their noise again... Slowly i started to loose interest in them and it makes me very sad. At least i can use my safety razors in peace. Have you used a typewriter? Also it was a nice video, fun to watch.
I actually bought a beautiful 1930s Underwood typewriter that is in absolutely perfect immaculate shape from an estate sale a few years ago. It’s still fun to use that thing but it’s been a while since I did.
As for the Whisky, at least now you know! You do miss the two videos per week, don't you? As much as you wander off ... ;-) And McD turned in that bitter thing when people started to sue them for coffee being too hot ... Have nice Weekend, too!
I hate it when you've been wanting to try something and you put it off forever. Then one day you say I'm trying it. Only to be disappointed😞 Especially if you payed with your own money😡 I'll take one of those shout-outs please. Not for me, but my wife. She's hardworking, grandmother of 6, and a loving wife. Her name is Shawn and we've been married for 17yrs. I'm very very grateful for her. So if you could it would be much appreciated. Stay blessed my friend
I got into safety razor shaving after finding this channel and exhausting my other options that didnt gel with me. Started with a van der hagen i got for $10 had it for about 6 months and I think it's about time to upgrade. I was wondering if anyone here has any recommendations for a midrange razor?
Any chance you can give Tears for Fears a Shout...Shout? Have fun in London! My boss got a haircut at Truefitt and Hill when he went there. If you have a spare moment, it might be a pretty cool experience for you.
Hey sinatra hope your doing well sir. Hope all is well with you. Could you shout out my little brother Lefty. He watches your videos with me all the time lol😂
Yes Papa Patina does not have the same ring as Grampa Grungy. It went from the 50's here to 80's and this northern boy does not like it. I need to slowly warm up. Well I'll stop whining because you probably laugh at that. Well glad you got your Pops to at least try DE shaving even though it did not take. You gonna visit TOBS while in London? It'd be cool if you could do a meetup with some of the UK TH-camrs. I agree with you on the whole whimsy thing. Have a good weekend.
"Please don't watch my videos on a giant HD TV..."
Oops. 😁😆
Shaving used to be a chore! Started using a safety razor, now I look forward to it and it's more like an event and a hobby!😎
Just had this thought lol... Hey @SinatraLennon, what would you do if you woke up one day and your facial hair just stopped growing forever? 😂
I have question : how many shaves can we make with one blade ?
Aahh. The weekend shave. Have a great week.
Generally I only spend money on scotches I’ve already tried and liked. I tend to try out small pours at bars until I find a bottle I truly like, and then splurge. Lagavulin 16 is my go and that’s how I discovered it.
Love good old Osage Rub! I have a 1966 Fatboy, no matter how they look, They're sturdy things!!
I have a 1961 Fatboy. I just cleaned and polished it. One of my favorite razors.
I wrote this comment in a previous video sorry for sending it again and I hope that you saw it from the first time.

My favourite video of the week. Makes my Friday :)
Yay, thank you!

Whenever I'm considering a really expensive single malt I try to find it in a bar first.
I really enjoy the BalvenieDouble Wood 12.

Does your friend play hockey? Driblades are training blades for hockey players.
"Why are you in there for 20 minutes!?!?"
"Dad uploaded a new video!!"
"Oh! Okay! Carry on!!"

You should do a "typewriter shave"
What does that imply? It's up to you.

You're going to Paris this summer?? Can I meet the goat of safety razors? When will you be travelling?
We’ll be there in June!
Howdy Man!
Just gave YOU a shoutout on Facebook.

Rockwell 6C
Ditto on the Rockwell 6C. Or the Rockwell 6S if you want a stainless steel safety razor that will last forever.
Did some research for saftey razor gifts:
FaTip (open or closed comb all brass) piccolo-$20-30
Razorock aluminum lupo $30
Razorock gamechanger .68 or.84 stainless steel $55
Parker Variant Adjustable $60-70
Pearl Flexi Adjustable $70-80
Rockwell 6s stainless steel $100-120
Get a Rockwell that’s not too expensive!
