@@TangerineNguyen hi, yes there is still some snow sometimes during that time in March. The forecast does show some snow this coming Sunday and after that warms up to a bit of rain. :)
I remember when you can pull along the highway and use the hot water discharging from the spring ! It was free then but I'm sure it alot different then
My parents used to live there when they retired. I have been there many times, but only went to the hot springs once. It has been quite a few years ago. The Springs resort was not there then.

Is pagosa springs a good place to white water raft with beginner/ intermediate young adults? Or is Durango a better option?
Next time you're in Durango, the coffee at Durango Joe's is fantastic.

I think you still can in some places. At least along the river. people created their own free springs to sit in :)

You can show up and pay for a day pass. For the hotel (includes the pass), its best to reserve in advance. :)
