☆ Hi friends!! ☆ I'm currently in Kauai, Hawaii having the best time ever with husband, just having a wonderful, romantic vacation :) In today's video I go on a thrifting adventure with my friend Leah at the Rose Bowl Flea Market!! I take you guys along as we hunt for home decor, cute things to wear in Hawaii, all the cool things you can find at a flea market + more! The Rose Bowl Flea Market was incredibly expansive and they had sellers selling everything and everything in between- next time I for sure want to go super early and spend all day there. 100% recommend a visit!! ☆ ps. let me know if you guys would want to see a more in depth part 2 to this video, where we're hopefully not in as much of a rush and I have more cash on hand hahahaha ☆ pps. a collective thrift haul is coming soon! With pieces from this thrifting adventure and my thrift trip from my last come thrift with me vlog. It definitely was A LOT of money, but it is a rare, vintage tee from their concert and this gentleman found it, so i guess it's totally it up to him to price it however 🤷

Wow! I can’t believe the prices on the vintage band shirts. All I would be able to do is look. Aww to bad guy would not make a deal since you were planning to buy so many. May be why both these vendors still have so much product. They have over priced themselves.

Band tees are valuable if vintage (1970-1999), hence the high price tag. if you want a band tee that is still vintage for a lower price, you’ll probably be able to find one from year 2003-2009 for around $20, but probably won’t be the cool classic graphics you are drawn to.
Literally had a similar situation happen to me years ago at a small Asian takeout place at a mall. I go "How much for the special?" "$3.99." "How much is an eggroll?" "$1" "What would the total be if I added an eggroll?" "$10" "3.99 special and one $1 eggroll...is $10?" "Yes" Bye...

T-shirt in Goodwill are usually around $2 at the most. It seem weird that they are selling at a flea market and not bargaining at all. I wonder how they got their inventory. I know it’s kind of confusing, but there’s like no distinguishing markers or more descriptive directions 😅 you’ll probably just have to go into that outer most area and just spend an hour or two looking around for it, because there’s so many sellers. His sectional is really big and the Disney shirts are pretty visible from the walkway, so you should be able to find him hopefully with relative ease!! Good luck! ☺️💛
The reason why people are excited about Harley-Davidson items in the thrift store is because they are very expensive. I have several items a bandanas and socks are $18 and up Other items like t shirts and Button Ups can run $35 to $75 jeans can run a hundred or more dollars so that's why

I wonder about the Harley tees myself, but most of all, in every thrifting video I watch, women go absolutely crazy over denim jackets. Why is that? I'm genuinely curious what the appeal is and I have no female friends to ask. Is it just because they're denim or is it something else I'm missing?

If u ever came to Egypt give it a visit the pieces are priced from 5 EGP And there is a store that sales authentic designer bags and shoes,and the prices starts from 100 EGP which means nothings in dollars
Im unsure who started the Harley Davison trend (amongst fashion divas) and denim obsession but I have to say Alexa clearly authentically loves it. She also loves Disney and I'm sort of shocked it's big for you too... like do you really like Disney stuff?! Or do you just like it because you love Alexa so much, if that's the case I cannot blame you I adore her too!? I'm just trying to decide where this all comes from because yes Harley is kinda in. Who doesn't love Disney?? Everyone loves Disney stuff, plus where do you ever find cool Disney shirts like that at affordable prices? We all grew up on it, plus the Hanna Barbera cartoons and Looney Toons- pure nostalgia! Those pieces are ALWAYS in, no explanation necessary 😎
Hey Joy! Disney has always been big for me. I loved Disney growing up and I still do. I love Disney so much that my husband and I got annual passes, so we could go more often. Even as a grown adult, I now still have stuffed animals- both Disney and otherwise, around my house. My husband works in animation, so all throughout our home and our life, we have all sorts of paraphernalia- figurines, art, pillows, clothes, etc. from Disney, Dreamworks, Pixar, ILM, Nickelodeon, BlueSky, and Cartoon Network. We even have a couple giant signed posters by the directors and artists from huge Disney and other animated movies displayed in our home. We have beautiful hand drawn art from Disney shorts, made by the artists who worked on them, hung in our living room. We truly love Disney, as well as many other animation and movie studios. For us, it transcends a trend and Mickey Mouse on a tee- it's about art and animation and nostalgia and history and something that is a huge part of our life together. It's a massive part of my husband's life and therefore, mine as well. He's planned on working at Disney Animation studios for years as a huge career goal, after already having had accomplished his goal of working at Dreamworks Animation Studios. So I just want to share that Disney isn't any sort of trend for me, it's something I genuinely love and it's something that is a part of my life, in the past and present. And I definitely don't think anyone, especially me vs. Alexa (because we are ACTUAL IRL FRIENDS and don't need to be pitted against each other) "did it first". I think we both just genuinely love Disney and that's definitely a major reason we're good friends :) because we have things in common and we like similar things.That's all :)

I don't know if you've seen that show (it's a documentary style and I dont know if it's still airing or not because james moved on. I'm so proud of my brother when he was at UW he entered a writing contest and was invited to dinner by Kiwi the creator and author of the movie "Ten things I Hate about You". He also won a writing award! They connected and she loved him so much that she offered him a wildly high paying position as Heath Ledger's personal assistant but at the time my brother wanted to follow his passion and finish his college education and unfortunately Heath obviously and sadly passed away shortly after my brother did graduate so that opportunity came and went. But my brother absolutely loves working in the industry and he is my go-to for anything creative that I want to run past him. I really want to get my own channel up and running and I really admire you for working so hard on producing editing and literally running a kick-ass business I know that is a ton of work and I have so much admiration for you, and ladies like you! We even have a couple giant signed posters by the directors and artists from huge Disney and other animated movies displayed in our home. We have beautiful hand drawn art from Disney shorts, made by the artists who worked on them, hung in our living room. We truly love Disney, as well as many other animation and movie studios. For us, it transcends a trend and Mickey Mouse on a tee- it's about art and animation and nostalgia and history and something that is a huge part of our life together. It's a massive part of my husband's life and therefore, mine as well. He's planned on working at Disney Animation studios for years as a huge career goal, after already having had accomplished his goal of working at Dreamworks Animation Studios.
So I just want to share that Disney isn't any sort of trend for me, it's something I genuinely love and it's something that is a part of my life, in the past and present. And I definitely don't think anyone, especially me vs. Alexa (because we are ACTUAL IRL FRIENDS and don't need to be pitted against each other) "did it first". I think we both just genuinely love Disney and that's definitely a major reason we're good friends :) because we have things in common and we like similar things.That's all :)

I just like originality and understand that there's a lot of bandwagon type people. I'm from Los Angeles originally and got the opportunity to go to Disneyland a handful of times as a young girl, but unfortunately I was so young that my memories of it are very vague. My brother James Karhu works as a producer in Los Angeles, actually in Hollywood, and is currently producing a TH-cam show that's on it's fourth season and he's worked on numerous shows from Smarter Than a 5th Grader to actually creating content for, traveling around the country in an RV for an editing every aspect of a show called Roadtrip Nation his first summer after collegegraduation. I don't know if you've seen that show (it's a documentary style and I dont know if it's still airing or not because james moved on. I'm so proud of my brother when he was at UW he entered a writing contest and was invited to dinner by Kiwi the creator and author of the movie "Ten things I Hate about You". He also won a writing award! They connected and she loved him so much that she offered him a wildly high paying position as Heath Ledger's personal assistant but at the time my brother wanted to follow his passion and finish his college education and unfortunately Heath obviously and sadly passed away shortly after my brother did graduate so that opportunity came and went. But my brother absolutely loves working in the industry and he is my go-to for anything creative that I want to run past him. I really want to get my own channel up and running and I really admire you for working so hard on producing editing and literally running a kick-ass business I know that is a ton of work and I have so much admiration for you, and ladies like you!
