    Could you please say the Turkish names for dative case, ablative case, locative case, accusative case, and genitive case? 😊 This is so educational. I didn’t know about cases in English and other languages until I started learning Turkish.

    O hamburger yedi. Would this sentence also be acceptable if I just want to say that I ate a hamburger without specifying a particular hamburger nor specify the quantity?

      Perfectly acceptable 👍

    Hocam yabancı bir arkadaşım bana "n" harfinin kullanımıyla ilgili bir soru sordu ancak cevap veremedim.
    Mesela "O Kayseri'de okumadı" dediğimiz zaman kesme işaretinden sonra n harfi kullanılmıyor. Ancak "O Ankara Üniversitesi'nde okumadı" dediğimiz zaman kesme işaretinden sonra n harfi geliyor. Ben bu durumu arkadaşıma nasıl anlatırım?

    • @LearnTurkishvia
      @LearnTurkishvia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Güzel soru.
      Ankara Üniversite + si + n +de
      Kaynaştırma harfi "n", görüldüğü gibi kelimeye gelen hali hazırda bir ekin ardından ve iki ekin arasında kullanılıyor. Birinci ek "si" ile ikinci ek "de" arasında.
      Yani bir kelimeye 2 ek geliyorsa ve birinci ek sesli ile bitiyorsa, bu ekler arasında kaynaştırma harfi "n" kullanıyoruz.
      Fakat "Kayseri'de" örneğinde sadece "de" eki var ve kelimeden hemen sonra geliyor, başka ek yok.

    Thank you so much for your lessons. now I can't help myself trying to read turkish and apply to grammar that I have learnt from you. could you please explain if ' Süleymaniye Mosque' is the unique name as I am trying to translate it to english 'to the Süleyman mosque' with the suffix a or e that means to but not sure if it has the same menaing in turkish

    • @LearnTurkishvia
      @LearnTurkishvia  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Merhabalar. It is a unique name from old Ottoman Turkish. The "e" in the end of "Süleymaniye" is not the dative suffix.

    I saw Mehmet at school yesterday
    = Ben dün okulda Mehmet'i gördüm.
    Ama bu cümle böyle yazabilir mi?
    "Ben dün Mehmet'i okulda gördüm"

    Is there a lesson that explains why the personal pronoun suffix’s change? eg. Biz -k or -iz

    • @LearnTurkishvia
      @LearnTurkishvia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Personal pronoun for "Biz" is always "-iz". Only for definite past tense it changes to "-k".
