I’ve always liked the Romeo & Juliet story, but it’s been a while. I think the last retelling I read was “Romiette & Julio” by Sharon Draper ❤️🖤💔
Oh wow, this is really making me want to read the book now. My friend read it a while back and absolutely hated it, so I stayed away from it, but now I might have to check it out.
I have a degree in Asian culture and studied history of China (in detail). I think the only really good part of this is the description the political situation and the mixing of mythology. I didn't like Roma Montakov and Jullite Cai. Everyone else was good

Me personally I LOVED this book
I feel like I would just love this book but I know it can get quite violent, would you say those scenes are slow and torturous violent scenes or are they fairly quick? I can handle violence I just have a hard time stomaching torture. thx so much!
they are quick! it’s not anything to gory or crazy, but it does have some blood and etc. ( i don’t want to spoil ). i totally recommend this book. they do rip their throats out, but i wouldn’t say it’s anything crazy ( to me ). if you don’t like anything like that, then don’t read it, but i love love loveeee this book.
