I have A LOT, but I have maybe 3 or 4 that I use most often. I'm doing a favorite lipstick series over on Instagram and TikTok if you want to see some of them. I'll probably post the series here as shorts as well next week.
I just found your Instagram series on Lippies, my favorite reds. I am now a sub on TH-cam. I really enjoyed your content. You are lovely. Very pretty natural look.
Love this! You have such a classic beautiful face, suits this look perfectly! I love the idea of dark brown eyeliner rather than black for a softer every day look too ❤ will definitely be trying some of these techniques 🥰
Thank you for showing a vintage makeup that is not too much for everyday wear and no cat eye. As a 50+ woman I can’t do the winged liner due to my hooded eyelids.
Looks lovely! May I suggest you bring up your voice audio or bring down the music? I kept turning it up to hear what you said, then wanting to turn it down for the music between.
Such a simple routine with easy to find products. Love thrive and how you mentioned the lip liner corresponding to blue based reds. You have no idea how many times I bought the wrong color liner for a red lip stick not understanding blue based vs orange based reds. Great tip and fun video!
You are just as gorgeous without makeup as you are with❣ Your lovely bright and beautiful smiling face popped up after the intro! Love your makeup routine and those red lips just perfection❣ Your Haunted Mansion prints and mug are fantastic!!! Wonderful video as always✨ Thank you so much!!! I hope you have a magical day💖
1:19 Hi Christine! I just started following you and I really like your channel. I have loved everything vintage for a long time now but i hadn't thought about developing myself into the vintage style that I love so much. So, with your help I am going to slowly begin to do a vintage style and makeup on myself now. Anyway, I have a request for a new video for you. How about doing a video about your night time routine like removing makeup, washing face and protecting your vintage hairstyle during the night. Please include any and all things you do at night to prepare for a good night sleep. I would even be interested in seeing a video on what you do to get a goodnight sleep such as for example drinking a hot tea, dimming lights, reading a book, listening to soft music or whatever you do to fall asleep and get a hood night sleep. I hope you'll consider these two suggestions and I look forward to watching them in the future. Thanks for your time and have a great day! Take care!! --Rebecca
I'm so glad you've found my videos helpful and thanks for the video request. I'm not sure I have any good advice for getting a good nights sleep as I suffer from insomnia and struggle getting good sleep. But I'll consider making an evening routine video.
Hi Christine! Thank you for your lovely makeup routine, you look gorgeous! Now I want to update my own 😊 I absolutely love the look and the red lipstick. If you ever want to do a video talking about your favourite red lipsticks - which ones you prefer and why - that would be amazing. ❤
I've been doing a series on Instagram and TikTok sharing my favorite lipsticks, but I'll be posting them here as Shorts next week so be sure to subscribe and stay tuned!
The lash lift I use is from Diablo Cosmetics, here's a link us.diablocosmetics.com The tint I use is a professional product, so not available to the general public. But both of these are services you can get from an esthetician and I highly recommend doing that. I'm a licensed esthetician so I feel comfortable and confident doing this on myself, but I'm not so confident recommending everyone to do it themselves. The lash lift is intended to be done at home and once you really learn how to do it, it's not difficult, but there is a learning curve. So just take your time and be patient.
Your makeup looks really great! I really like this kind of makeup. When you do it, it seems so easy, but when I make up myself, especially the shadows, then my makeup does not look so neat, but it seems dirty and somehow separate from the face. This is a real art! And I still do not understand at all in what sequence and where it is necessary to apply different tones to the face 🤦🏻♀️
Thank you for another great video! Have you always just done mascara on the top lashes? I feel naked without my bottom lashes done, but I'm curious about your preference! Thank you again!!
Not terribly. The Maybelline Susperstay Matte Ink can be drying if I wear it more than a few days in a row. But I find the MAC liquid lip to feel nice, not hydrating so much, but not drying. I use a lip balm whenever I don't have lipstick on. I always put on lip balm at night before I go to sleep and usually in the morning before I get ready and put my makeup on. My favorites are the Dr. Hauschka Lip Care Stick or the L'Occitane She Ultra Rich Lip Balm Stick
I think you could still dress vintage and wear vintage hairstyles, without the vintage makeup. Her skin is stunning. When she started the tutorial, she was makeup free.
Hi, very informative tutorial and such a lovely matte finish, how does it wear throughout the day? Do you touch up with a compact? I have very combination skin and always need a t-zone powder, any suggestions?
The makeup wears really well all day. I have normal to oily skin, so if it's really warm out I may need to touch up once, and I just use the pressed base for that. During really hot days that I'll be outside more I bring the hydration mist or my SPF setting spray with me and re-spray my face after I've touched up. Of course if I'm wearing my mask a lot, sections of my nose where the mask sits will rub off.
I went to Sephora and Ulta yesterday and they don't carry Glo Skin Beauty. I just don't want to order their foundation without a color test first. Any recommendations on where I can find their line to buy in person? Your makeup is gorgeous and you are stunning. I look forward to trying this one on myself.
It’s a professional makeup line, so only estheticians and pro makeup artists will sell it. I used to sell it in my spa. If you go to their website and scroll down to the bottom, you should be able to request some samples and find a retailer close to you.
I used to, but I no longer take in-person makeup clients. Instead I offer virtual style and beauty sessions to teach people to apply makeup on themselves.
The vintage makeup question - how many different red lippies do you use?
I have A LOT, but I have maybe 3 or 4 that I use most often. I'm doing a favorite lipstick series over on Instagram and TikTok if you want to see some of them.

Vous êtes sublime, avec mais également sans maquillage :) merci pour ce joli partage :)
I'd love to see how you use the lash lift kit 💗
I've just tried it and I think I look prettier than ever. Thank you soooo much! ❤
I’m so glad you liked it.
Thank you! How I miss Max Factor’s Pan Cake foundation! My mother wore Tan Number One and I wore Amber Rose. ❤
This is a beautiful look, your makeup always looks stunning so it's great to see a tutorial! Thank you 😊
Thank you so much!!
Such a great tutorial! You look lovely and I am so inspired to find a red lipstick! Thank you!
Yay! Thank you!

Fab look! Thanks for sharing your tips and ideas! :)
You are so welcome!
Absolutely gorgeous Christine! Great tutorial video. Much love to you! ❤
Great tutorial! I'll have to watch again for how your liner is done. And I'm going to switch to brown. Much softer look.
You always look so polished. It's a wonderful routine.
Thank you so much

Wow loved this video ❤thank you 😊
I am obsessed with your look. I admittedly bought the glo makeup, and mac products that you used in your last tutorial!! ❤
Hope you like it!
@@TheGlambassador I truly do! And thank you! You are so lovely!
Thank you so much for this video, I have gotten so many useful tips I can’t wait to try out! ☺️💄

Do you use a primer to make the lipstick stay longer ?
Great tutorial hon
Glad you liked it
Great tutorial! You mentioned at the get go that you tint and lift your lashes. Could you please share what product you use for tinting? Thanks!

I show you the sequence in the video, does that not help?
@@TheGlambassador Yes yes, of course it helped 👏👍 Just wanted to tell that it is really a big problem for me to remember 😁🙈
What is the thing you put on your fingers to pat in the powder under your eyes? The colorful pad thing on your fingers
It's the Beautyblender Power Pocket Puff
Would you please list the products you used? Absolutely loved this video - you are beautiful
Please check the description

Thank you for another great video! Have you always just done mascara on the top lashes? I feel naked without my bottom lashes done, but I'm curious about your preference! Thank you again!!
I never wear mascara on my lower lashes.
Do you find the MAC Matte doing?! I love mattes but have a constant struggle with the drying effect. Do you have a lip care routine you use regularly?
Not terribly. The Maybelline Susperstay Matte Ink can be drying if I wear it more than a few days in a row. But I find the MAC liquid lip to feel nice, not hydrating so much, but not drying.

Any suggestions for someone who doesn’t wear makeup. Is there a vintage natural look?
A natural look without using makeup? I’m not sure I understand.
I think you could still dress vintage and wear vintage hairstyles, without the vintage makeup. Her skin is stunning. When she started the tutorial, she was makeup free.

@TheGlambassador I might have to get some setting spray. Unfortunately, my face can get very oily. Maybe this would help after my touch-up.
You so beautiful
