I think I love you already. You just have to be the best professor that ever existed.Medicine should be all about studying in order to apply all that knowledge in your career and cure or treat diseases. As doctors we only actualy need a tiny amout of the theoretical stuff we learn in med school. So much time is wasted on learning things we are going to forget immediatly after the exams.
You have made my day! Thanks for the wonderful presentations of histology, which you clearly love... maybe that is why I find Shotgun Histology to be so great!
but trust me you are the best. before watching your videos i really dont like to study histology but now because of you i really enjoy studing this subject.
If anyone would like to tell the difference from the trachea and the larynx, they should search for the shotgun histology clip on vocal cords. Thank you for the videos!
@heston123 lohrider IS right in pointing out the slip of tongue to which the Prof himself has accepted. The Prof referred to the oesophagus n mentioned it as having "non-keratinised psuedostratified squamous epithelium" (4.07). Prior to that, he was talking abt the trachea n he mentioned the type of lining epithelium correctly. The slip occured only when he started referring abt 'another tubular structure...'. Well, it can happen inadvertantly...
If anyone would like to tell the difference from the epiglottis and the larynx, they should search for the shotgun histology clip on vocal cords. Thank you for the videos!
I firmly believe that simply watching my 100 short video clips is the best way to learn histology, even better than if I gave personal lectures there. However I'd be thrilled to give an introductory lecture or webinar because I will be teaching those same people path a year later.
@@idarmistorresfigueroa5680 if your class has any clout, please tell Maldonado that I'd be happy to do the Histo course, but, I insist on doing it MY WAY. No interference from non medical paper pushers.
+shourya neema no, for esophagus he said scuamos plurystratified non-kerathinizated tissue, where as a distinctive element you can find proper glands of esophagus, you can find it more detailed in the video with gastro-esophagian section where you can get an ideea about the fundic portion of stomach as well and the transition is beween the esophagus epithelium which described above to columnar unistratified *simple epithelium and within you can find gastric kripts or Lieberkuhn kripts made barely of goblet cells and you can find as well the special local macrophages Paneth cell, the same as Kupfer cells for the liver why ? (you may ask)cuz in H+E coloration you can see a lot of red-colored granulations which gives you a clue abouts its functions.
when you learn more in 5min, for free, than in a 3h class paying a shit load of money
you made my day sanly, but exams are the biggest CANCER of all in the medical educational process, and the people who write them are sadistic maggots!

Waid a second....the cartiliage is in sumucosa, not adventitia....thanks for the vids tho, I use them to study for my exam
hi there, when you said non-keratinized pseudo columnar epithelium of the esophagus @4:07, did you mean to say stratified squamous? many thanks!
Thanks a million!
which site/program is that you are using?
