for all the people asking if a lobe piercing hurts im gonna be completely honest and it doesn’t hurt that much id say about a 2-3/10, it really depends on the person and their pain tolerance. But if they do it with a gun it hurts less because its faster and just a bit for comfortable at first, but the if you get a gun they’re technically jabbing a butterfly backed piercing in your ear and your more prone to an infection , if they do it with a needle it hurts a bit more because its slower and the pain stays there for longer 😭 but also its less risk of a infection. The pain is like a small sharp pain in the ear but i recommend to bring a parting comb with you to squeeze (really random btw) because it helps you focus on the small pain in your hand rather than on your ears!

I would just like to say I’m 13 almost 14 and autistic and I went to get my ears pierced today beforehand I watched this and it really helped me Edie very much describe how it was exactly I am very bad with pain and I can honestly say a Papercut is definitely worse I got some blue studs which is my favourite colour so I just like to say a special thanks to Edie for helping me through How it felt from my perspective For those of you wondering what it feels like from my perspective me who hates Pain because there was no nerves in the ear there is no Paine it’s a bit of a shock when it happens and then afterwards kind of just feels really hot and a little bit stinky and that’s it with me I’ve got some special drops i see edie wasn’t so lucky what After care From what the lovely lady told me is apply drops to the front and back of the ear with the special cleanse water move The ear so it can get behind the earring and don’t touch the earring though after two weeks you can start turning it the whole way round to make sure there’s no scabbing take them out after six weeks and then they are free to be interchangeable
It doesn't really hurt it's like one little pinch I've gotten my ears pierced I've got a double piercings but it's also better to get it done at younger age cuz I got my ears pierced at like 5

Just for future piercings, needle are a lot safer then piercing guns. I'd suggest to not twist the earrings (it'll help heal it faster.) And have a professional piercer on hand incase issues arise. And to use saline solution.
