Absolutely, I am always mesmerized seeing some of these works at the National Gallery of Art.
I'm so focused on figurative art that I often forget the beauty of landscape paintings. Thanks for the reminder!
Many of the major American museums have several of these large landscapes on display, and they are pretty impressive (especially compared to some of the smaller Dutch landscape paintings which were not really designed for a museum)
