I think that load on off condition is 0.026. please check it again.as I have asked many manufacturers of AC they claim 1 to 6 watt.I will wait for your answer.if your reading is correct then check on other ac of different company.may be fault or leakage of current in your ac.manufactiter can not tell a lie on so much difference.you can also ask your ac company and you can complaint. To them.

I could just figure out this fact with an energy metre that an AC connected with socket whose Power is ON (AC itself is off thru remote control) consumes around 250 milli Amps...in my case, it was Hier 1.5 ton AC
