Hi everyone! I'm an American from the Northeast (New England). I want to create a watering hole for people who want to discuss, learn and teach about history through TH-cam videos which you guys recommend to me through the comment section or over on Discord. Let's be respectful but, just as importantly, not be afraid to question any and everything about historical records in order to give us the most accurate representation of the history of our species and of our planet!
Having a diverse perspective is crucial to what I want to achieve here so please don't hold back! I want to learn about all I can! Keep recommending and PLEAESE join my Discord :) ( / discord )
    Also my TikTok :)

If you want to see flat, you should come to Fenland in Cambridgeshire - which was drained by Dutch engineers in the 17th century. It is so low lying that, although it was not affected by bombing in the Second World War, the town hall in Wisbech was sunk by a U-boat.

Continents as far as I am aware are separate tectonic plates.
    Cheers!

I immediately guessed Egypt, but think that two of the sides look a bit nibbled. :)

Blow me! It was Egypt. Seems that I have spent too much time learning about the desert campaign in WW2 recently. :)

Map Men have done a video about continents (of course they have!) In fact you've reacted to it.

I think Greenland isn't classed as a Continent cos Greenland is on the North American tectonic plate. It is not on a separate one from Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Continents are classified as on their own tectonic plate with their own unique animals, plants and culture.
