Would love (occasional) updates on stuff like overall finances, facilities, and then comparing to league rivals and euro rivals.
I know the coefficients are where it's at for overall progression, but would be great to see a slight more depth. Like knowing 2 star is a good prem player, then comparing to a prem player from a nation like Denmark, Holland, France, you can see where the league's standing is.
I guess if I want that depth, I should watch the streams! But if you can find time in these videos, maybe every couple of seasons, would be great!
He does post the streams on his second channel, granted they're still long it's much easier to stay up to date
I really like that comparison idea actually, i might get some team reports of the top teams from nations around us in the rankings to see where our players slot in so i can show a better comparison!
@Secondyellowcard if you do that can you include it in the next video? Would be so interesting to see how teams stand up against mine as I'm in the same year as you😂

I'm going to knock on wood here, but there is a chance where, if you do well enough to cover the 7-point season you're losing, and do well enough to improve on the following 4.75-point season, you could be in the Top 15 where you get a 5th team into Europe, improve the seedings again (blessing or curse, I'll leave that to your discretion), and hopefully the Maltese friends keep improving so the siren on the logo isn't breaking her arm every bloody season.
Yep, 15th gets us another European spot, but i'm kinda glad we didn't get it this year as i suspect it would have just meant a 5th team getting knocked out early and causing our points to be divided by 5 instead of 4. Next year though we should be ready!

On Kristic, I'd check the formation Naxar are playing. With the sub appearances being the majority, I'd suspect they are playing something with CMs and not an AM and won't start him there because of natural position stuff. This happened to me with a 5 star potential LM/LW who I loaned to Shelbourne. He's a natural LM accomplished LW and as they play with AMLs he's only really played from the bench.
I've also been trying to slim down the amount of teams I have loanees at. I realised giving Bray two very mid fodder loanees who could sort of keep them up hurt me way more than it helped me. I think I'm also realising just how hard this type of save actually is to try and beat England. Especially when you think of it as your fifth team have to essentially be Spurs level good and need more or less an entire squad that has 150 Potential Ability. I have managed 3 other teams in Europe for the 1st time including a very satisfying win over two legs from St Pats against Sporting Lisbon to qualify for the Conference League.
Re the Juventus thing. This is where "what leagues are loaded" really causes issues. Players who are too good for their "home nation league" or a rival in your own league will pretty much only go to teams in European competition and in terms of teams who can afford the value these players are, it's high rep teams. They also have to be teams who would be scouting Malta etc and that isn't happening. I'd argue the FM mechanics don't work well for that but in some respects, the only way it would be more realistic would be for the player value to reduce to be affordable for teams scouting Malta.
Getting teams in the conference league is such a game changer for the coefficient. On my YAC save in Bulgaria, we had four teams in the CL for the two years straight and our coefficients ended up being 13 and 19. Shot us up to the 8th spot
It is the biggest key in the early stages, you can see from this year how much we suffered without the help of Hamrun. Not that we did ourselves any favours lol

This is a reminder to download RDF training. I get good results but rarely feel like I see a +7, gonna have to check it out when I can get on
Into season 8 and still struggling to get players out on loan to other clubs apart from a few (Hamrun and Hibernians) 50 players out on loan but about 30 are spread across them two. Don't really get any bids from the others and they never accept the part exchange. Any ideas

One thing that has been frustrating me this entire series is that when you introduce the new signings you show all the statistics, including all the european game stats. This was especially annoying early on seeing some player play like 8 champions league games which would give away the fact that you had qualified for in this case the champions league
Totally get that. The issue is the that that panel is the only one i can't switch out for something else as the game locks it for some reason. I could blur it out but it just looks kinda naff. I may try a zoomed in approach to hide it next time providing it doesn't look too janky :)
I don't want you to take these negatively- some very very small things that would help my (and maybe other people's) viewer experience. If you could highlight the stat you're talking about at 27:00 screen, there's a crazy wall of information and numbers that, for a noobie, takes me away from the content to find the stat(s) you're referring to.. (also the mouse highlighting a random player due to position is distracting)
Also a quick link to the vod for the next season start would be useful for those wanting to catch up, or on the vod channel to highlight what season number start the stream is, though the title.

Have you considered trying inserting minimum fee release clauses onto loads of your players, especially the ones you pay "over the odds" for?
Not sure it would work to counteract the low values thing, but could it potentially stop players kicking off when you reject low bids for them? (Due to the values being crazy.)
I'm thinking like on a 2m purchase, insert a 3-4m release clause. I know it feels counter intuitive, coz you normally want to keep your best players, and 3-4m for great players, is still peanuts, but it could maybe help more than it hinders?
Unfortunately, that would actually cost us money, as most players won't consider release clauses that are super beyond what we've paid for them due to our rep. The other issue is that during windows once bids come in, they can get bid for like £15m+ on certain players, this would just allow the European Elite clubs to pillage our players for peanuts and we'd have no way to stop the,

I life in Malta and i try nation building in FM since 2020... and that league is cursed by design with sponsorship money, only way to get the nation ahead is get in CL, solidify the club (which is close to impossible), rinse and repeat with other clubs... most teams are not even professional or can get staff :D
I can't believe SI have not fixed this loan farm overflow problem. You reported that ages ago and they said they would look into it, didn't they? It wasn't even worth for them to assign one dev to that thing for one hour apparently. Unbelievable.
I don't believe they consider it a large enough issue to prioritise. Its not causing too many problems and is quite difficult to get
I suspect that it's just too niche to bother fixing, I assume that only a handful of people ever run into it, so i'm not too bothered by it, i just find it funny more than anything
@@Secondyellowcard It's probably one of countless little things that they say will be fixed with the new FM 25 with Unity...and then we will have another giggle when it's still in that version as well :D.

Doing my own build a nation save and its been a struggle 😂 doing my home nation of Northern Ireland and the work permit restrictions have made it really difficult but its going well. In 2039/40 season and we're about to move into 9th place in the coefficients! ❤
Getting to 9th that fast with all the restrictions on work permits is insanely impressive!

Its been very much me on my own and in the last 3 seasons ive reached the semis of the ucl twice and quarters once but thankfully another team has qualified for the UECL proper 2 years in a row and actually made the knockouts both times and its been fantastic.
Loan farm is non existent ive had to rely on sending the clubs money instead and the idiots never spend it well

Why are you not training your players to a role within their positions?
It's what RDF recommends for using his schedules, Additional focus below the age of 24 while they have lots of potential to burn. Role training after that unless i'm training the player to a brand new position. I find combining the two means they just complain about training workload and it negates any benefits of the schedules. The way i usually describe it is this. If i get a guy who is already comfortable as a striker, at 18 with what appears to be a decent amount of potential. He's decent in a few key areas for the role already, such as finishing, and first touch, but his composure and decisions are a little behind. Then if i say stuck him on "Advanced Forward" role training, it'll hit a lot of attributes at once, but they will grow slower as it's more broadly targeted. Whereas if i whack him on "Attacking Movement" we might see his Composure up by as much as 6 points in 3 years. Essentially i'd rather work on their weaknesses than taking an already good attribute from a 17 to an 18 :)

Journeyman went like this: Season 1 - 5th tier of Austria, Season 2 - 3rd tier of Austria, Season 3 - West Brom in the Championship, Season 4 - West Brom in the EPL, signing an ancient Messi. Too bad he had his retirement date already announced so he left in December...
