From Fitzsimons Army Medical Center which opened in 1921 to Lowry AFB and Buckley AFB, This program features the history of the military in Aurora, Colorado.

I served at Buckley Air Force Base in the USMC reserves from 07-09. I saw what looked like my old building in one of the last shots. I wish I knew more of the history of the base back then. I would have appreciated it more.

thanks for sharing. I was at Lowry in 1964 and 1965 and was a patient at Fitzsimmons Feb 1965.

I remember Lowry Air Force Base I guess I'm that old I was born in 07 and Buckley Air Force Base and all of you military service out there thank you for your service I'm kind of old now but thank you anyways
