@@vickyhyde8173 Monzie was our puppy, yes. Unfortunately 2020 was his final year and he left us very suddenly in July.
Just make sure the baby doesn't stick her face in his fur when shedding season starts, one time I cuddled with a leonberger during shedding season and walked away with a false beard made of leonberger fur.
Hahahaha we call that a normal day! What is this shedding 'season'? :p It seems like we live in a constant house of hair.

My husband lost his Cleo 10 years ago at a ripe 16, I lost my Tut a few months before that at 3.5 years old. (Completely coincidence on their names)

Got calmer now that she's ten, but it's actually a shame she doesn't do it as much. She used to be such a lively dog. She even started to react to the word "grandma" almost as much as to her actual name :'D
Leo’s are all so different! Our current fellow is much more nimble and never stays still but will send our kids flying if things aren’t supervised. This guy would climb on and knock over an adult but with kids was just low and slow, super gentle.

Our boy was a gentle giant-my pet rat used to settle down & sleep on his head. However, please be aware that as long as a dog has teeth it can bite. Don’t encourage young children to trust your leonberger as it may also trust other not so friendly dogs? Keep children who are too young to differentiate away from dogs. My husband wanted another baby but also wanted a German shepherd-he chose the dog as I refused to have both. I was quite relieved with his choice! But an otherwise well behaved dog will attack to defend his family & home-as an aggressive postman discovered. & you never know if your dog has toothache or is in pain-a toddler may not be welcome to tug a tail then? Be safe Xxx

Geez :( I have a leo, she is about 1.5 years..I watched your video this morning and you can just see how that big guy loves his family. I am so sorry :( These giant breed dogs are worth the tears they bring. Thats why we keep doing it to ourselves.

Sergey Ivanov left alone, of course. But I’m holding the camera and are within arms reach, and the father is in the same room as well. One needs to know the temperament of their animals and humans and adjust accordingly.
