We need to focus on supporting the Tibetan cause instead of getting lost in the distractions of modern life. When Tibetans themselves prioritize materialistic pursuits, it's hard to expect our fellow Tibetans in Tibet to gain freedom or for our nation to be liberated. Education loses its meaning if we can't use it to stand up for our roots. It's sad to see so many Tibetans getting lost in delusion. That's probably why we lost our country in the first place. FYI, China never existed before 1947. It was a Japanese serfdom colony. And before 1937, China was a Manchurian state and historically it was part of greater Mongolia. China has no history, therefore, no legal basis over Tibet. Free Cantonia Free Manchuria Free Inner Mongolia Free East Turkestan Free Tibet Free Hookien Free Goetsu Free Yunnan Free Aksai Chin (India) Free Gasa (Bhutan) Free Gorkha village (Nepal) Free Amur region (Russia) Free South Asian Sea (ASEAN) Free the world from China’s deceit & lies, economic coercion & debt trap and from an atheist communist revisionist bully.
Advocacy and personal life can coexist. Resorting to condescension, blaming Tibetans for China’s occupation and brutality, and vilifying those within our own community is counterproductive. Supporting a cause doesn't require disparaging others. Let’s not normalize spreading such animosity within our community, and maybe instead try to foster understanding and unity. You can advocate for the Tibetan struggle AND simultaneously live your life. Those two things can coexist.
